There are places you visit.
And then there are places that quietly stay with you.

Austria will stay with me.

I arrived carrying the usual noise. Work, expectations and the endless feeling that I should be doing more. Somewhere between Hallstatt, Bad Goisern and Gosau, that voice became quieter.

For the first time, I swam in an alpine lake. The water was freezing but for those few minutes, nothing else existed. No deadlines, No plans, No race. Just the quiet reminder that life doesn’t need to be extraordinary to feel complete.
As an actor, I often think travelling is part of the craft. The more life you experience, the more truth you can bring back to the stories you tell.

Gosau stayed with me the most, Not because it was the prettiest place I saw but because it made me slow down.
The mountains, the lakes, the silence they don’t care who you are or what you’ve achieved. They simply remind you how beautifully small you are and somehow, I find that comforting.

Grateful for the privilege of seeing a little more of this beautiful world.
Until next time, Austria. 🤍
