POSTS STORIES REELS

“The same old story. The same old song.”

Stepping into Percy Jackson’s shoes again has been such a privilege and I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity. It has been an absolute blessing to step into this world once more and play this knucklehead again. I feel so connected to Percy as if he’s encoded into my DNA. I don’t think this will be my last time portraying him as I would do it again in a heartbeat. I am so proud of everyone in this cast and crew for putting on a beast of a show under difficult circumstances. I’m honored to have worked along side such wonderful performers.

Thank you @redphoenixtheatreco for having faith in me throughout this whole process despite me being new to the program. Thank you @matthew_hand74 for these wonderful pictures. And special shoutout to @courttab, @wesleybaumann, @le_hunterrrr, and @could_we_be_more for making a plan to give me water throughout the show so I wouldn’t die of heat exhaustion. You guys rock. Also I apologize if I didn’t tag everyone as I don’t have everyone’s socials.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I got a feeling that my stay at Camp Half-Blood isn’t over just yet. Think of it as me going away for school, so “I’ll be back next summer.” Till next time, demigods. Perry Johansson, signing off. 😎

There are giants in the sky!

I apologize for the late post but playing this little carrot top haired boy with a sunny disposition has been a blast and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Being Jack has been a wonderful experience and I couldn’t have done it without such an amazing cast and crew beside me. Thank you for making my first musical at UGA one I will never forget.

Thank you @abbymcwethy @peyton.harris05 for taking a chance on the new guy and being absolutely wonderful directors during this whole process!
