ALA THE EP ALA — earth. Life. Motherhood. The foundation from which everything grows. This Friday, J’Dess invites you into a body of work rooted in love, growth, motherhood, identity, and the beauty of becoming. Inspired by Ala, the Igbo goddess of the earth and life, ALA is a seven-track journey through the things that ground us and the experiences that shape us. It is about love that nurtures, the lessons that come with growth, the strength of motherhood, and the gift of discovering your voice and allowing your talent to speak. Seven songs. Seven seeds. One story — rooted in where we come from, shaped by where we are, and reaching toward where we are going. ALA THE EP OUT THIS FRIDAY, 25TH SEPTEMBER. 🌍 The journey begins this Friday. Pre-save ALA now. Produced by Knote, Tex Jam, Magical Andy & Wizboyy Ofuasia Vocals: Joy Chioma Obilo, Kingsley Chukwudi Okorie, Benjamin Chukwudi James & Bassey Kenneth Edeke Executive Producer: Creative Catalyst by Chinyelli Deborah A&R: Kekay #Jdess #ALATheEP #ALA #igbo #EP by @officialjdess

36 whole years of being loved, held, and carried by God. 🥹❤️ This has been one of my sweetest years yet, and if this is what God has done already, I can only imagine the beautiful things waiting for me. My life is such a beautiful testament to His faithfulness, and I’m just a girl with a heart overflowing with gratitude for a life filled with love, laughter, and purpose. Here’s to more beautiful days, more answered prayers, more dreams coming true, and more of God’s goodness. 🥂✨ Happy birthday to meee! 🤩🎂💕 Captured by @quistar_ by @officialjdess

POV: when your VOCAL COACH nitpicks every single detail😭👀😩😭😭😊😉😎 So I’ve kept this project a secret for months, but it’s time she gets her flowers 🌸 🌸💐🌺🌷🌻 The first time I heard about @officialjdess was from @officialwaje; while having one of her own vocal sessions in 2023, she had mentioned a unique talent from her time as a judge on The Voice Nigeria Season 2 in 2017, called J’Dess who was a member of Team Waje. She spoke about her with so much faith and passion. WAJE does not flatter: if she said the sun is purple on any given day, trust me it is PURPLE! that’s waje So to be shaping J’Dess voice in this season as her #vocal #performance #coach #personaltrainer and post partum voice recalibration technician & #therapist is a special thing for me considering all of the above! I am immensely honoured! There is a whole lot still loading on this partnership; but till they fully unravel, help me appreciate her artistry, craftsmanship, hard work and resilience by buying and/or streaming her recent debut ALA on all streaming platforms PS: my jacket is courtesy @cci_global’s @ccw_global🔥 T H E K W A Y A M A S T E R by @officialjdess
