Thank you @kal3b.james. When I wrote “Picked Petals,” I never imagined the impact it would have on so many lives. What began as an expression of my own pain, trauma, and healing has become something much bigger than me. The messages, the conversations, the testimonies, and the people who’ve found the courage to share their own experiences after hearing this piece have been nothing short of humbling. I never expected my vulnerability to become a source of strength for so many others. I never imagined that sharing one of the most painful chapters of my life could help someone else begin to heal from theirs. But I’m thankful. Truly thankful. Every message reminds me that poetry is so much more than words on a page or a performance on a stage. Words have power. Stories have purpose. And sometimes, the very thing we were once afraid to speak about becomes the thing that helps someone else find their voice. “Picked Petals” is no longer just my story. It’s become a voice for people who thought nobody would ever hear theirs. And if sharing my truth helps even one person feel seen, heard, believed, or less alone, then every moment of vulnerability has been worth it. This is why I write. This is why I share. This is why I do what I do. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. L.J. Hamilton by @officialljhamilton
IMPACT. Locally and globally. That’s what it’s all about. Making sure your words have meaning. Understanding that sharing your story has the power to change lives, and sometimes, even save them. Thank you @stichtingseksueelgeweld. by @officialljhamilton

This is what rest and recovery looks like for me. Peace. Quiet. Good-for-your-soul music. A chance to slow down, breathe, and let my body recover. This is the other side of the process. Because the work isn’t just in the running, lifting, sweating, pushing, and grinding. Recovery is part of the work too. And yes, I’m trying to show off my gains a little bit because that’s what the work is for. 💪🏿😂 The muscle definition is starting to come in. The work is starting to SHOW. And I’m proud of myself. Not because I’ve reached the finish line; I haven’t. I still have work to do. I still have goals to reach. But sometimes you have to stop long enough to appreciate how far you’ve already come. Every early morning. Every run. Every workout. Every time I showed up when I didn’t feel like showing up. Every decision to stay focused, disciplined, and consistent, it’s adding up. This picture is me being proud of ME. For a long time, I wanted to have the confidence to show off my gains, but I never really had it. Even when I was making progress, there was always something in me telling me to hide it. Not anymore. This is confidence. Unapologetically. Not for likes. Not to impress anybody. Not for validation. But for ME. I’ve worked hard to get to a place where I can look at myself, recognize my progress, and be proud enough to SHOW it. And okay… maybe show off a little bit too. You see it. 💪🏿💪🏿 Proud of the commitment. Proud of the discipline. Proud of the progress. Proud that I made an investment in myself, and I’m finally starting to see the return. So yeah… I’m showing off a little bit. 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️ I worked for this. And I’m nowhere near finished. 💪🏿🔥 Now to get up and get this run in. by @officialljhamilton
Dig this… Smooth enough to make the cover. Grown enough to have something to say. Soul. Style. Substance. That’s the Boogie, baby. Love Boogie, baby. 🥃♥️ 👉🏿 Follow @lboogielive. by @officialljhamilton
