Owning a shop is a lot more than cutting hair and collecting rent. 💈

There’s the money 💰, the time ⏳, the business 📈, and the people 🤝. Learning how to communicate with your barbers, build good relationships, set a standard, and still make time for your own life.

Then there’s the craft. ✂️

This industry is always changing. New trends, new techniques, new ways of doing business. You can’t get too comfortable. You have to adapt, keep learning, and make sure your own skills never fall behind. 📚

And sometimes it’s just the simple stuff. 🧹

Cleaning the front. Taking out the trash. Fixing something. Staying late. Doing whatever needs to get done.

Nobody is above the work. 💯

Some days you’re cutting all day. Other days you’re handling everything behind the scenes. Either way, it’s all part of it.

I’m still learning every day, but that’s what comes with it. 📈

Build the shop. 🏪 Take care of your people. 🤝 Get better. ✂️

That’s ownership to me. 🫡

Custom outer sleeve DONE and BLASTED for @mnoriega_87! 🔥

His mother’s hands, a military-inspired figure with a mariachi hat, and custom lettering — all brought together with full creative freedom.

A STRONG statement piece to prove that I @lasmanosdeltoro is taking pieces that are: bigger, meaningful, fully custom projects.

He waited almost ONE YEAR for this appointment — well worth the wait.
