A micro fishing adventure w/ @ogcarper and myself. #fishing #carp #corn #topwater #fish by @ogcarper

This came as a complete surprise. Just as @emiliebeath said, “I don’t think you’re going to get a bite,” my rod absolutely slammed over.

At first it felt like a small carp, as it didn’t fight, then it went on a couple of absolutely mental runs, I knew it was a sturgeon. Put the scopes to the test!

Ronnie rig NS1 pop-up fished in a PVA bag of bird food and breadcrumbs, doing the do! 😂😂

What an awesome surprise!

First day back at Golden Gardens in about 5 years and we only went and caught a 20lb fish in the first few hours #urbancarpcollective #carpangler #nashtackleofficial #vasswadersandrainwear #americancarpsociety by @ogcarper

HE’S BACK! After 2 months of blanking it was great to hear the alarms going. Albeit a smaller fish, it still put up a great fight on the 6ft extractor rod.

Do we think it’s a ghost carp? Had a very white spine as well as an orange tail. Not to mention the perfect circle hole in the dorsal fin.

We’ll name him Benson as a tribute #ifyouknowyouknow

Definitely took Golden Gardens for granted - my favorite fishing location to date, and will have to go back at some point. #carp #angler #americancarpsociety #urbancarpcollective by @ogcarper

Moody Mirror from a trip that almost made me quit carp fishing all together. I’m glad to be back and excited to get out to new waters this year. #urbancarpcollective #vasswadersandrainwear #carpfisherman #ridgemonkey #nashtackle by @ogcarper

A beautiful mirror from last year. Sun is coming back out, which means the fishing will get going here shortly. #urbancarpcollective #UCC #vasswadersandrainwear by @ogcarper

“Decided to take a solo trip to BF Reservoir this year, covering a solid 3000 miles. It was a true test in so many ways—not going to say I failed, but I definitely learned a lot about myself along the way. Despite the challenges, I managed to land a few cracking fish, down to go back—hopefully in the spring, and with some good company next time!

Took the boys out fishing this evening and was very happy to put them on some fish. @krunkpebbles with his first carp & @quinnspin with a nice one too. #urbancarpcollective #carp #fishing #pnw #korda #nashtackle #commoncarp #boilies #river #angler #danglersnation #fishyourcity #urbanangler #vasswaders #vass by @ogcarper

5 years and 100s of commons later we have another 🇺🇸 mirror carp. The amount of toture we went through from more mosquitoes then I’ve ever seen to the most obnoxious ATV riders filling the air with dust. This was some hard worked for fish but well worth it right @emiliebeath? Not sure she will be joinging me carp fishing on a new lake anytime soon! #urbancarpcollective #carpfishing #carpangler #nash #scopes #vasswadersandrainwear #carpfishingusa #angler #fishing #carpanglermagazine #ridgemonkey #americancarpsociety #bivvylife #carplife #ucc by @ogcarper

Not the best photo I’ve taken. But a beautiful top heavy 20+ lb common I had towards the end of last year. Very excited to fish new spots around Portland this year. #urbancarpcollective #carp #carpphotography #carpfishing #danglersnation #ridgemonkey #nashtackleofficial #newdirectiontackle #pdx #fishingpdx #commoncarp #carpamerica #fishyourcity #angler #bivvylife by @ogcarper
