LOCAL SPOTLIGHT 📍 Kindred Restaurant | Davidson, NC 🍽️ One of Davidson’s favorite restaurants is BACK, looking better than ever… and once again recognized by the prestigious MICHELIN Guide! 🏆 I had the pleasure of sitting down with Katy Kindred on Telling Our Stories and hearing more about her journey, her family, their love for the community of Davidson, and the story behind what she and Joe have built made this recognition even more exciting to see. After five months of renovations, Kindred has reopened on Main Street with a beautiful new look, and, of course, the favorites we all know and love are back too. Yes, including that famous milk bread! 🙌 Congratulations to Katy, Joe, and the entire Kindred team. It’s always great to see a Davidson business and good people receive national recognition. Proud to have you as part of this community! ❤️ by @ogjoshjohnson

Did you know Christmas in Davidson started with a simple idea to support local businesses and nonprofits? 🎄❤️ What began as a way to encourage people to shop downtown during the holidays has grown into one of our community’s most beloved traditions! In this clip from our latest Telling Our Stories episode, Kim Fleming, Economic Development Director for the Town of Davidson, shares how it all began. I love hearing the stories behind the traditions that make Davidson such a special place to call home. And there’s so much more to the story! From the Giving Tree Village to the businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers who bring it all together each year, this is what community is all about. 🎥 Watch the full episode and hear the rest of the conversation in bio! by @ogjoshjohnson
