Installation and performance that turns repetition into ritual, exploring how religion, social norms, cultural memory and sexuality get under our skin through the things we do again and again.

GOGBOT Festival @gogbot
Location: Grote Kerk, Enschede (NL)
Performance Dates: 18. & 19. September from 17:00 to 21:00

Amsterdam-based Serbian artist, performer and musician Ognjen Gligorijević creates immersive worlds where ritual meets rave, and cultural memory collides with electronic sound. Drawing from queer experience, Balkan history and Orthodox Christian symbolism, his work turns inherited beliefs and social rules into spaces of tension, intimacy and transformation. by @imognjen

The Architecture of Belief: Queer Reorientation, Perception, and Inherited Meaning is a publication exploring how queer identity is negotiated within inherited religious and cultural frameworks. Drawing on queer theory, phenomenology, and personal experience, it examines how belief structures shape perception, embodiment, and belonging, and considers how inherited meanings might be reoriented through queer experience.

It Keeps Repeating, Again
Durational Performance

04.07.2026
15:00–17:00
ClubLokaal, Breda (@clublokaal_breda)

A 2-hour performance built from a repeated sequence of actions. Through breath, endurance, ritual, and bodily discipline, the work explores the relationship between queer experience, power, and submission. Repetition functions both as structure and method, gradually transforming simple gestures and materials into a temporary ritual space.
