I ordered this sweet little holster as a birthday gift for a fella we sit with at the gunshows. @foofarawleather makes some absolutely beautiful rigs ! If you're looking for a super nice rig to complement your sixshooter, hit up Mike, and he'll set you up !!!

@uberti_usa copy of the iconic 1847 Colt Walker in. 44.
Ok, before any of y'all bust my chops, I totally forgot a Walker needs more than 30 grains to load it, and yup, I did this once before. You think I should have learned 😆 🤣. Oh, well, I hope yall got a good laugh on my account 😂😂🤣🤣
If yall ain't never shot a Walker, put it on your bucket list !!!

Super cool High Standard blackpowder revolver copied after the original Griswold & Gunnison in .36 caliber.
What a show find this was. I had heard of the Griswold & Gunnison for years, but I had never seen one. It was on my radar for a while and finally found one.
Like I said in the video, this may be the only High Standard blackpowder revolver shot on video. I've looked for two weeks for one on video, and there don't seem to be any out there !!
Cap and ball revolvers are hard to beat !

@pietta_firearms copy of the 1858 Remington New Model ARMY in. 44.
Blackpowder or Pyrodex is sure a hoot to shoot you can't help but to have a good time ! I do love my Remington copies. I thoroughly enjoy my Colt copies, but there's just something about these Remingtons.
Enjoy the show, folks 😃

Look what I found. I honestly can't remember the last time I found a cracked piece of @starlinebrass. This piece of 45 Colt brass has probably been loaded 50 times or more over the years. It seems the strain was more than she could bear.
Like I say in my videos, Starline Brass " The Best Brass In The Business" by @ohiohammerandlever

High Standard copy of the Griswold & Gunnison in .36 caliber.
Very cool revolver !
High Standard produced these from 1974 through 1976 with only a total of 2000 being made. From what I read, there were 400 to 600 made in display boxes, and the rest just came in a cardboard box.
The original revolvers came with the brass frame, round barrel like the Walker and Dragoon, the serial numbers are in the exact same place as the originas. The only thing that's not original in this copy is the grips.
The original grips were swept back quite a bit more than the 1851 Colt NAVY, which this revolver was patterned after.
This is supposed to be a. 36 caliber, but the bore is much bigger than .36. We figured out that I'll be needing a .375 round ball in order to run this ol girl. I'll tryin pick the balls and felt wads this week and run it to the range this weekend.
Interesting factoid. I checked YouTube for videos on a High Standard blackpowder revolver video, and there are none ! When I shoot this, this should be the only video of a High Standard blackpowder revolver being shot on video. by @ohiohammerandlever

@pietta_firearms copy of one of the most popular, if not the most popular revolvers from civil war, the iconic 1851 NAVY in .44 caliber.
The next time I hit the range, I'll drag this ol girl along with my and do a longer video, and bring more powder lol.
A huge thanks to Mike at @goonsgunworks for sending me the spring that busted. If y'all are looking to get one of your revolvers slicked up, hit up Mike at Goons Gun Works. If you do send him one, you'll see why I endorse his company. He's top shelf, and his work is A+++ !

@pietta_firearms copy of the 3rd most popular revolver during the Civil War, Starr Single Action Army in .44.
This is a super cool revolver, indeed. Like I said in the video, it's very strange in hand. It almost feels like my Russian Topbrake but points a little better. If you ever come across a single action at the shows, pick it up, and you won't regret it.

Blackpowder Friday, y'all !
The only one missing is my @pietta_firearms 51 NAVY in .44 because I'm waiting on a spring from @goonsgunworks . The CSA rig is from @foofarawleather, and it's a dandy. The @cimarronfirearms Texas Jack holst I picked up at a show, and here's a cool factoid, this holster fits my @uberti_usa Colt Walker. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my @taylorsfirearms conversion cylinders for the 58 Army and Sheriff's model, but maybe here in the near future.

@pietta_firearms copy of the very popular 1858 Remington Amry in .44 cap and ball, The Sheriff's Model.
Thank you for the support, Pietta. I absolutely appreciate it.
Cap and ball revolvers are a hoot to horse around with especially in .44 caliber.
3 minute videos to reach new followers is what I consider a quicky. 😉
Not much else to say about this video other than enjoy !!
