The inauguration of Dr. Kevin Osborn as the seventh president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University marks a historic moment in our story, but the mission that brought us here remains unchanged.

Rooted in Christ, we look ahead with faith and anticipation as we continue developing and sending servant leaders to advance the Kingdom of God.

We are called for this moment.

For such a time as this.

Today, we celebrated the inauguration of Dr. Kevin D. Osborn, seventh president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

What a beautiful reminder that God has been faithful through every season, faithfully leading OKWU to this moment and entrusting this next chapter to new leadership.

As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude for what God has done, confidence in His faithfulness, and hope for all He will continue to do through OKWU.

Called for this moment. Sent for what’s next. 💙🦅

There is something beautiful about witnessing someone publicly declare their faith in Jesus. 💙

We celebrated seven students who were baptized during Chapel, each taking a meaningful step in their walk with Christ.

May their testimonies remind us to pray for those around us, love intentionally, and be willing to show up and share the hope we’ve found in Jesus.

Different nations. One family in Christ. 🌎💙

The Parade of Nations was a beautiful reminder during GO Week 2026 that God’s mission reaches far beyond our campus. We’re grateful to be part of a community called to serve, love, and live out our faith wherever He leads.

Something exciting is taking shape at OKWU! 🥎

Our new softball field is under construction, creating new opportunities for student-athletes to compete, grow, and be formed in Christ as they prepare to serve through their callings.

Because of the generosity of our OKWU community, we’re building more than a field; we’re investing in students and the lives they’re called to impact. We’re forever grateful for each and every investment made!

A full schedule doesn't have to mean an empty soul. 💙

As you pause this Fall Break, remember that God cares about more than what you accomplish. He invites you to rest in His presence and be renewed by His peace.

"He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Psalm 23:2–3 (ESV)

Some callings leave a mark on more lives than we may ever know. 💙

Pastor Torrey Martin, this Pastor Appreciation Month, we want you to know how grateful we are for you.

Thank you for showing up, pouring into others, offering encouragement, and faithfully serving the people God has placed in your care. The work of ministry often happens in the moments others never see, in the prayers whispered, the conversations shared, and the quiet faithfulness of loving people well.

We see that heart in you, and we’re thankful for the impact you make in our OKWU community.

May you feel just as encouraged, supported, and appreciated as you so faithfully encourage and support others. Happy Pastor Appreciation Month!
