For October issue of @elle_russia I had a chance to photograph my homeland. Republic of Kalmykia 🤍 I recently mentioned that I felt disconnected from my home and had to come back there a few times to really look at everything that surrounded me my whole childhood and find it all fascinating and exciting. Every time I’m there I can’t stop staring at the faces, the beauty of everything locals do from traditional wrestling to cattlery. I adore the authenticity most people pursue. Being there makes me feel whole and heals me up. So this shoot was a blessing 🙏🏼 And look at Sharda. She is to me a pure Kalmyk beauty. 🤍 Thanks to @elle_russia @mukhins Photo: @olesya_asanova Photo assistants: @elinachu @bairalarisa Style: @ekaterina_cassina Style assistant: @krivakosa @danil.khorunzhyi @dashanikitiuk Models: @_khaktaeva_sd_ @hornyoshi MUA: @amulyanga_makeup HAIR: @amulanga_muse Producer: @helen_grey Producer assistant: @kellynosareva Special: @marina.manjieva @ramazanov.st @legenda_restoran @kontourclub @muzeimongolii @kochevnik_08 @tulpan4ik_08 @delgiratserenova @rostourism.official @russia.travel.official @doguzova_zv @lolaland08 Film processing and scanning at @archive.lab by @olesya_asanova
