Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella 👑✨⚔️

Holy - words can’t really describe how much this project has meant to me.

This is the 2nd time (shoutout to Working 💪🧳) that I’ve repeated a show that was altered or cancelled from COVID. I am so eternally grateful that I got a second chance to play this role and complete this awesome, full circle moment that I had resigned myself to never having.

To the cast and crew of Cinderella, I mean wow. I marvel at your kindness, work ethic and passion. It’s ridiculous to think about how much time, energy and talent from so many individuals is needed to create literally the LARGEST student produced musical in the country. I’ve always admired that from afar in previous years, but seeing it in action this year with this group of people has been so cool…like seriously damn.

Thank you to Rachel, Jordan, Avery, Emily, Mika, James, Alex, Susan and everyone in the rehearsal room for your leadership in creating such a magical, fun and thoughtful space. The show is so rich and beautiful and I was honored to be able to share in the journey of exploring it with y’all.

And then, just on a personal note, it’s been very gratifying to be able to play a stereotypically vanilla (in more ways than one….😁) character and flip it on its head. So thank you to Prince Topher for having the breadth in allowing me to at least try to do that - love you buddy.

Working 💪🗄️👷

Incredibly proud to have been part of this process that’s been nine months in the making. It’s been a wild ride doing Working for the 2nd time. Thank you to the cast and crew; I am incredibly humbled to be a part of a team of such awesome and talented individuals.

Thank you to the people of the Evanston area and the people of Studs Terkel’s original “Working” who granted us the honor of being able to share your stories. And thanks, in particular, to Rose and Carl. You’re the real ones :)

The Three Sisters 🪖🇷🇺🌳

Little late, but truly one of the most rewarding acting experiences of my life with an incredible group of individuals. Grateful to this cast and crew for building this from a small suggestion in Acting 373-3 to a Faculty Performance Project in Wirtz 101.

“World Within My Room” from Maybe Happy Ending

Got the chance to see @maybehappyending twice with @darrencriss and @shuynh_ing playing the role of Oliver who sings this song - so incredibly original and a real blast (and also a whole lot of Asian representation 😎😎). Absolutely go see it if you’re able to :)

Oh What a Night! Some photos I took at Saturday’s Roger Rees Benefit Concert celebrating its 15th anniversary. A treat to see so many RRA alumni perform to support theatre arts education and enrichment programs presented by the Broadway Education Alliance. by @oliverttam
