It's fun when actors get to explore their characters!

Caught @oliviajannesson right after our London premiere screening of The Heir of Time Pilot on her main role as Thira.

Comment “PILOT” to support indie animation and help us bring this sci-fi fantasy story to life!

Really excited to share that I voice Thira and performed her facial capture in the indie animated series @theheiroftimeshow
(Can you see the resemblance?)

The screening was a brilliant reminder that projects like this are built by a huge number of incredibly skilled people. It was lovely catching up with the team, celebrating everyone's work, and seeing the first episode on the big screen together.

I can't wait for people to experience it for themselves.

Episode 1 premieres on 29 August 2026.

Well done to @marcojonathansuthya @annacameronmowat @abigailcoyy @jasmineamanda08 @trent.meacham @rob_loud and the whole team by @oliviajannesson

The Song

“We can make this right. You can’t go to my world, but you can be free here.”

Leader of the Guardians, The Song presents herself as calm, compassionate and diplomatic, yet there’s an unease beneath the surface. Whether kindness or calculation, she’s the first to truly make The Rider question his path.

One of the main changes we made to The Song was her weapons. To keep in line with the aesthetic of our miniseries, we changed her dual crossbows to 2 scythes, that when worn give her the look of her “wings” that she has in the game and that ethereal and angelic appearance of hers.

The Song is played by Olivia Jannesson @oliviajannesson Swedish-born actress and voice artist now based in London, with screen work including Alone on County Road and a growing portfolio in voice performance. Her nuanced presence brings a distinctive edge to the world of Furi.
