It’s been a while since i introduced myself. I assume we all can agree that it is a a very hard task - to introduce ourselves. Especially when it has to be fast, like an elevator speech. We don’t want to seem too shallow, yet, we don’t want to bore people with too much information. Here I give a little glimpse on myself and what I do professionally and passionately. I would love to talk to you more, and my ig is my diary. I do not want it to be a monologue, so please, ask questions and let’s have a deeper conversation about life, art and the art of living. #olyatsikhanchuk #artist #illustrator #art #ceramics #finland #artistfromfinland

I am still singing ”wake me up when September ends” , meanwhile October went by in a blink of an eye!

A tradition quick recap, just to keep it as a memory. by @olyatikh

I will not get tired to speak about it. There is so much joy we can bring to the world by doing what we love and what we are good at! AI is taking our confidence away and gives us a fake sense of being capable to be someone we are not, neither even wish to be. Let artists be artists, and let business owners run businesses in an honest way! Let’s educate ourselves! by @olyatikh

Exhibition at @musikcafeaftereight . Ends 20.11.2026. Art is available for sale. Glimpse of it. What an important place After8 is for Jakobstad, Osterbothnia and Finland, which leads to impact on the whole world. For artists like me, it is an opportunity for an exhibition. For the youth - it is a place where they can feel they belong and taken seriously. For the people who work there - it’s a heart. For the people of Jakobstad it’s a place to have meetings , share a meal, experience culture… this place deserves all the support and more!

This portrait is of the family from my hometown. A present from a thoughtful wife to her husband turning 40. I am so honored to be drawing there beautiful family. And it’s by coincidence was my first portrait for someone in Nykarleby!!! :) hopefully not the last one.

What good AI can do for creatives? It’s too much resources used for even making email templates, not talking about AI creation of art. Art is a human experience: both in creating it and consuming it. AI could never. We don’t need a faster world. We don’t need more time optimization! We need slow living and time spent together sharing the experiences of life. by @olyatikh

Some prints and patterns become my favorites. Like this one for @gaminetgamine by @olyatikh
