"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—" - Ephesians 2:4-5 A tree that has weathered many storms still stands tall, its roots deeper, its branches stronger. Today, I celebrate the seasons of my life, and the One who has been my shelter, my guiding light, and my safe haven. May the beauty of life's journey be reflected in the depth of my roots and the breadth of my reach. May my story be a testament to the power of resilience, the beauty of transformation, and the unwavering love of the One who holds it all together. #RootedInGratitude #WeatheringLife #GrowingStronger #CelebratingLife #GratefulHeart by @omolewa_aahmed
Seventeen years ago, at the Maternity in Ilorin, the Lord gave me a new name, wiped away my tears, and silenced my mockers. His mercy came through for me, proving that He is the God of all possibilities. Even when the enemy rose like a storm to threaten her life, the Lord raised a standard against him and gave me victory. Today, I see God’s unfailing hand in the life of Faizah Oluwawajomiloju, Oluwatomisin, Abike Ayomide Ahmed. I am deeply grateful to my spiritual mother, Mummy Bolu Martins, who wouldn’t rise from her knees until her daughter had safely delivered—your prayers meant everything. Matron Odedina, thank you for yielding to God’s use on that day! Prof. Fawole and Dr. Kikelomo Adesina, I bless God for the gift of you both. Sis. Olajumoke Balogun, thank you for being such a steadfast support throughout the journey. Her Excellency, Oluwatoyin Saraki, I am profoundly grateful for allowing God to use you in such a remarkable and impactful way. Thank you, ma! Lord, I stand in awe of Your wondrous works in my life. by @omolewa_aahmed

"BREAST CANCER IS NOT FOR WOMEN ALONE. MEN CAN GET IT TOO!" At our 9th Annual Walk For Hope, our incredible Hospital Manager, Ms. Alade Blessing, was out on the streets of Ilorin sensitizing the community one person at a time! Seeing her joy after the walk says it all. Through her passion, so many of the men we met are now aware that breast cancer is not just a woman's disease. That is the true power of grassroots awareness! Her vital message to everyone: "Please know your status. Early detection saves lives. Cancer is NOT a death sentence. At LEAH Foundation, we will walk you through it, we will help you understand your body, and we will be there for you. If you have any scare, any lump, any worry, please come to us." Thank you, Ms. Blessing, for leading with such passion, for educating the men, for counseling the women, and for showing what it truly means to touch lives positively. This is the heartbeat of LEAH Foundation. We don't just advocate; we walk shoulder-to-shoulder with you through every step of your health journey. Your health is our priority. If you or a loved one are worried about any unusual changes, lumps, or signs, please don't hesitate. Visit us at LEAH Diagnostic Centre or LEAH Medical Centre today. MY HEART IS OVERFLOWING WITH GRATITUDE! Yesterday, the streets of Ilorin were painted pink and white for the 9th Edition of our WALK FOR HOPE. Looking out at the sea of passionate faces, I was deeply moved by the incredible love, energy, and commitment you all brought to the pavement. To every single person who woke up early, stepped out at 7:00 AM, and walked from the Leah Diagnostic Centre to our foundation office, THANK YOU. You didn't just walk; you marched for hope, for life, and for a future free from breast cancer. My special and heartfelt appreciation goes out to: FLAC (First Ladies Against Cancer): For standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us year after year. Our Incredible Pillars: Thank you LCRH, APHOS Media Agency, LEAH Medical Centre, LEAH Diagnostic Centre, and Whitefield Hotels Ltd, your support made this possible. Our Heroes: The brave survivors who inspire us, our tireless volunteers, our dedicated staff, and the wonderful people of Kwara State. You are the reason this vision keeps growing bigger and better. Nine years ago, we set out with a simple vision: to take breast cancer awareness directly to the streets. Yesterday, you proved that when we stand together, the lifesaving message of early detection can ring loud and clear across our communities. The walk is over, but our mission continues. Please, check your breasts today, get screened, and encourage another woman in your life to do the same. With all my love and deepest appreciation, H.E.
