This is a qualification I’ve dreamed of earning since I was little, and now at 18 I finally got to make it happen.

A huge thank you to @dave.peters86 for teaching me, guiding me, and letting me jump into helping with classes even when I was so young, it meant more than you know.

Now I’m itching to do my next level in OCR and help juniors become the athlete they dream of being and try and help the development in this sport. by @omrmagazine

Had a blast @worldstoughestmudder, got my 50 mile bib and chuffed to bits with 2nd in age 18-24, was it hard 💯.

Now time to head off into the 🏔️ for 2 weeks with my bestie @emelia_ocr by @omrmagazine

I’ve been wearing the Salomon Aero Glide GRVL for a while now. Not just for runs but my dog walks too which always combines road with woodlands or trails and honestly, I’m so impressed. They’re incredibly comfortable straight out the box and feel super smooth whether I’m on smooth or rough terrain.

They’ve got that perfect balance of cushioning, runs feel easier and more enjoyable without feeling heavy or sluggish. I also love how supportive they feel underfoot, really confidence-boosting, especially on mixed terrain.
I’m a massive fan of @salomon trainers and they have absolutely nailed it with these. You can tell the quality is there, and they just feel built to last. Robust without being too bulky. Definitely one of my favourite pairs I’ve owned. I highly recommend if you want something versatile and comfortable and Pepper 🐾 approves too. 😂

This week’s news has left me with so many mixed emotions.

Being named 🇬🇧 Female Captain for 2026 is an immense honour.

Reason this means so much is because of Jack, he was more than just a coach, he built me, pushed me, believed in me, and helped shape the Spartan I am today. I promised him I’d never give up!

This role to me is about community, support, and lifting each other up. We’re a family, every ability, every background, every person giving their all.

This year will be hard, I’m looking forward to standing beside you all this season, supporting, chasing big goals, and creating unforgettable memories on every course and remembering why we do this. by @omrmagazine

Isn’t she a beauty?
Whether you decide to go road or trail, this stunning shoe from Salomon Running will keep you on your toes on all terrain.

This shoe feels super smooth, cushioned, and light, making it perfect for those longer runs. The grip is spot on for mixed terrain, whether you’re hitting the road, gravel paths, or park trails, it handles it all.

Sometimes you put a pair of shoes on and you just know… these are going to be good.

Anyone else tried them yet? 👟

I've just found out at the weekend I've been selected again for the 🇬🇧 Team for the Youth Skyrunning World Championships!

This year's event is in Croatia at the beginning of May, and I'm relieved it doesn't coincide with exams 🥳.

Only 8 weeks left to knuckle down with training. by @omrmagazine

Over the moon to earn my spot on the Spartan UK National Team for the third year running!

So good to have @omrmraceteam mate @scottbarkerocr back 😍 by @omrmagazine

SALOMON’S LATEST OFFERING IS A MAX-CUSHION ROAD RUNNING SHOE.
(Because sometimes, even WE need to get off the mud!) 🫟

Salomon say…..

Engineered to deliver ultra-light weight, maximum cushioning, and effortless forward momentum, the Aero Glide 4 sets a new benchmark of comfort and performance at an accessible price point.

The Aero Glide 4 is built for runners seeking the perfect balance of plush cushioning and featherweight design. Weighing just 250g, it is the lightest max-cushion shoe in its category, while still delivering the smooth, soft ride runners expect from a high-stack model. Its 41mm/33mm supercritical optiFOAM2 midsole provides superior shock absorption and resilient rebound, ensuring both comfort and responsiveness mile after mile.

This foam construction works hand in hand with Salomon’s reverseCAMBER geometry, a rocker-inspired design adapted from ski technology, to create a smooth, rolling motion. Every transition from heel to toe feels effortless, helping runners conserve energy and maintain momentum on long runs.

Comfort is also improved with innovative inside-out construction. By integrating reinforcements directly into the engineered mesh, the upper wraps the foot like a second skin. The result is a more breathable, seamless fit that reduces pressure points, dries quickly, and adapts naturally to the runner’s stride—ideal for training and racing in all conditions.

If we get the chance to test these gorgeous trainers out, you’ll be the first to know what we think of them. 👍🏻

These little pieces of kit are quite possibly the most overlooked pieces of training equipment everyone SHOULD be using.
Can you tell I use the hard ones the most? 😜
Yeah, they’re a bit muddy those ones as I use them training outdoors.
These are from Ultimate Performance Medical and tick all the boxes to activate those muscles in the right way.
Available direct https://www.upmedical.co.uk and prices just £9 which is an absolute bargain!

BE QUICK!!
An additional 1,500 places are about to be released for the UK’s largest 10K.

With demand continuing to surge for the 2026 Cancer Research UK London Winter Run, organisers have confirmed that more than 24,000 places have already been snapped up, leaving just 1,500 places (5%) remaining ahead of the final public release. Runners can now pre-register for their chance to secure one of the last remaining spots when entries go on sale on Wednesday 7 January 2026.

Established as the UK’s largest 10K, the 2026 event is on track to welcome 26,000 runners, which would make this year’s edition the biggest London Winter Run to date. Taking place on Sunday 15 February 2026, the event will once again see thousands take on the legendary closed-road route through the heart of London, passing iconic landmarks including Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Houses of Parliament, while raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
You can find details of how to book here:
