Hi. I’m CoCo 😘💋

Not perfect.
Not always consistent.
But deeply committed to becoming the version of myself I know is in there.

This season, I’m:
• Glowing up, inside&out (I’ll talk more about that in upcoming videos)
• Managing ADHD, PCOS & other things…one real day at a time
• Decluttering my life, restyling my body, and studying to be a better professional
•Im continuing to show up for me, even when I forget, fall off, or feel behind

I’m calling this journey Coco 🤎
Curate. Own. Commit. Overcome.

Yep, this is the journey I’m on, and maybe you are too.

🤎If you’ve ever felt like you’re starting over for the 10th time
🤎If your glow-up is more about breaking cycles than just “looking cute
🤎If you’re ready to reinvent yourself, without waiting to be perfect

You’re in the right place.

Drop a 🤎if you feel this

➕Follow me. The real-time reinvention is just getting started.

You’ve been so good to me. by @onemoretimecoco

After years of working in education in different roles—from teaching 2-year-olds and then Pre-K, to supporting high school students in Special Education as an instructional assistant—God has opened a door I never expected. What started as me stepping in to help has led to me becoming a first-year Special Education teacher.

Education has been a part of my journey since 2015, and although I didn’t originally plan on returning to a school district, God had other plans. Looking back, so many people have told me over the years that teaching was my gift. This opportunity truly fell into my lap, and I’m grateful for the chance to pour into students who need someone to believe in them.

As I prepare my classroom, I’m realizing I can’t do it alone; this is beyond a solitary task. My students have special needs and will require more than pencils and paper. We’re building a space that supports learning, emotional regulation, safety, and positive behavior. That includes things like sensory tools, calm-down corner items, behavior incentives, classroom décor, outlet covers and safety items, learning materials, and other resources that will help my students succeed. There will also be items that are useful for me as an educator, which will ultimately help my students as well.

If you feel led to support, I’ve attached my classroom wish lists below. Whether you purchase an item, share this post, or simply keep me and my students in your thoughts, it all means more than you know.

Thank you for helping me create a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and loved.

@jasmarlee_ , if he don’t guide me around the dance floor the way you do, then I don’t want him!!!!!!!!!!!!

The glow up is personal; it’s for the girl in the pink dress.

Thank you, Ja, for always creating a wonderful experience. As a person who does not consume alcoholic beverages, I still find myself fully present—laughing with strangers, learning from an expert, and listening to wonderful music.

Getting first hand experience from a sommelier who is down to earth, yet sophisticated, has been one of my favorite pastimes.

Also, the room smelled like coco butter and richness.

Mission Accomplished.

Thanks to Lady B, I can now beat my face 💁🏿‍♀️

I know for many this may seem minor, and that’s okay. For me, it’s significant because I know where I’m headed in life and how important it will be for me to pull a look together when my fav make-up artist isn’t available.

I’ll explain more on “where I’m headed in life” when the time is right.

Cheers to learning something, to setting goals, and to accomplishing goals

Ladies, here’s your friendly reminder to let a trustworthy man do what he said he’s going to do. Either you want the help or you don’t. Why ask for something to be taken off of your plate just to inquire about the removed item? In that case, you could’ve kept the full plate.

It’s okay to relinquish control, especially to someone who’s PROVEN they can handle whatever you’re asking.

I FaceTimed my brother today. I sat tall, and comfortably, donned in my favorite sweater, waiting for him to answer. There was so much we needed to discuss. Finally, he answered the phone. “Oh, you look cute!” I thanked him for his compliment and we proceeded to discuss business. Not long into our conversation concerning business matters, my brother stated, “you look so good. You look like you drink water, mind your business, eat vegetables, and talk to plants. You look very earthy.” Ironically enough, I was speaking to my plant earlier, asking her to choose life or death because I can no longer accompany her on this emotional roller coaster. I told her I love her and am here to nurture her, but she has to want to live, and I’ll take care of the rest. I gave her fresh water; I asked her to live, but only if she wants to. I’ll keep yall updated on my girl.

Ohhhh and also, I got my nails painted red today. As a child, I remember hearing that the color red was worn by street walkers, ladies of the nights, midnight ballerinas, and mattress actresses; all of which possess a spirit of Jezebel. However, I appeased the little girl in me who admired the boldness and beauty of those who wore red. When the nail tech asked if I want the usual (Dnd 866 soft tulips), I smiled and said “no.” Let’s try fire engine red ❤️

Will I do red again? Probably not. . .But anything for my princess.
