A lot goes on behind the scenes to bring OnStage to life! 💜 Back in August, our board came together for a weekend of big-picture thinking, planning, and collaboration to help shape the future of OnStage. A big thank you to guest facilitator @edwardrochaart for helping us turn our passion for OnStage into action and explore what it means to build a sustainable board! Thanks to @cambridgefoundry for hosting our retreat and @flightclubdartsusa for a fun night out with the board! Want to help shape what’s next for OnStage? We’re looking for a Community Engagement Manager and a Fundraising Strategist to join our board. Learn more at the link in our bio! 💜 by @onstagedanceco

Why come back to dance? 💜 Like a lot of us, Kaitlyn drifted away from dance after college. What brought Kaitlyn back was a reminder that movement is a privilege, and that the best exercise is the one that makes you happy. Thank you to @maldencommunitycoalition for having us on Malden Community Conversations this week! Full interview coming soon 🎬 Ready to come back to dance? Auditions are this Sunday, 10/11, at Paula Terenzi’s Dance Complex in Malden. Register at the link in our bio. #MaldenMA #adultdance #dancecompany #bostondance #comebacktodance by @onstagedanceco

✨ Returning Member Spotlight! 🔦 After close to 10 years away from OnStage, Kate returned for Season 30 and jumped right back in. Here’s Kate on what it was like to come back: “After a 10-year hiatus, coming back to OnStage was both exciting and nerve-wracking. I had gotten comfortable with the idea that maybe I had retired from performing, so I wasn’t sure what it would feel like to step back into the studio - or onto the stage. But almost immediately, it felt like I had never left. Being back on stage was reinvigorating, and the whole experience was much more comfortable and natural than I had imagined. It reminded me just how much I missed performing and how much OnStage still feels like home.” - @katemonsterrr513 Whether you’ve danced with us before and it’s been a while, or you’ve taken a break from dance altogether, there’s always a place for you in the OnStage community. 💜 Thinking about coming back to dance? Season 31 Dancer Auditions are October 11! 🔗 Register via the link in our bio. #BostonDance #BostonDancers #DancerAuditions #MaldenMA by @onstagedanceco
