Day 4

Understanding that less is more, be comfortable in yourself and who you are & never let material external possessions dictate your true happiness.

Once we understand that our possessions are not actually part of us but something we use to show our “worth” then we can fully detach ourself from them.

Who you are is not what you own, it’s how you treat others, treat yourself and live your life…

Day 3

Just because someone looks okay on the outside doesn’t mean they’re okay on the inside

Sometimes the biggest struggles are the ones nobody sees.
The smiles, the laughs, the everyday conversations can hide a lot more than we realise

You don’t have to look like you’re struggling to be struggling

Start that “awkward” conversation, be the one to ask the deeper questions, be the one to break the mould and reach out!

Start looking for the small signs in your male friends or family, take notice if they seem overly happy, or funny or anything out of the norm of their character.
This small detail could be the breakthrough they need to start that conversation that could be the helping hand they need.

DAY 2 🎙️

How much pressure do we actually put on ourselves as men?

To be successful, to provide, to be strong, to have a plan and to never show weakness

What’s one expectation you’ve put on yourself that you wish you could let go of?

But who sets these expectations? And what happens when we feel like we’re falling short?

Let’s open up the conversation! 🤲🏼

Welcome to Day 1 of my 30-day series on speaking about Men’s Mental Health

Throughout November, I’ll be having honest conversations about the struggles men face, breaking down stigmas, sharing experiences and exploring ways we can become stronger mentally, emotionally and physically.

It’s time to speak up, support each other and remind men that it’s okay not to be okay.
