Ascendo — Nepalese Wool & Indian Mulberry Silk, hand-knotted in Nepal, washed and finished in Switzerland. A wool loop-pile field, and a raised silk cut-pile pattern gives this rug extraordinary texture and dimension. Maybe my favorite from the @warpandweftcarpets Crossroads collection. Seen above in size 8’ x 10’, color Amethyst. Made to order. by @oona.warpandweft
A Soho loft by @ideasoforderstudio featuring Broadway Chairs by Gaetano Pesce. “The springs on the feet are to give a sense of insecurity, there is insecurity in our reality, we see it in violence, there is economic insecurity, there is insecurity in our health... when you sit you do not feel secure that is like the reality of life.” GP Broadway Chairs @sweeterfat by @oona.warpandweft
If August was a rug 🌊 Cape Cod — Himalayan Wool, hand-knotted in Nepal, washed in Switzerland. Made to order. Seen above in size 10’ x 14’. #customrugs #interiordesign #architecture #capecod by @oona.warpandweft

One of my absolute favorites is going to a new home today. Farewell sweet, joyful friend! Kia Sar, 4’10” x 6’6” by @oona.warpandweft
Two of my favorite home offices under one roof by @hallworthandheathens. Forever inspired by Jane’s work. by @oona.warpandweft
Slide 1- Highly unusual Antique Senneh carpet circa 1880, Persia, Wool, size 4’2” x 6’4”. Slide 2- Dig, from our Crossroads collection, hand-knotted in Nepal with Himalayan wool, Indian Mulberry Silk, and Linen, inspired by the Senneh, made to order. I feel like if I hung the Senneh on a wall and stared at it for a while, some universal secrets would be revealed to me. Undoubtedly this medallion is a portal, an abyss, a question and an answer… a black hole. The universe finely woven into a carpet. Rugs are magical :) Dig is a modern interpretation of this Senneh. Dig is a very sculptural rug, with three levels and three distinct fibers. I’m always reminded of Noguchi’s stone work when Dig is rolled out. It was featured in @arkjournal this past September. by @oona.warpandweft
“It’s hard to be innovative if you don’t have the right space to be creative. It was important to be surrounded by things that inspire me.” @yannnurynyc Sometimes an image of a space takes root in my imagination and influences how I cultivate my own spaces in a fundamental way. I cut this photo out of @nytmag in 2023 and it was pinned up in my apartment for months. @crina_architecture and @charles_zana collaborated to bring @yannnurynyc’s culinary atelier to life. This room is playful and serious at the same time- distinguished but not too precious, and even beyond the classic Soho loft structure, it’s quintessential NY- that is, filled with treasures and stories from all over the world. To me, this space invites a creative conversation. by @oona.warpandweft
September. Arguably the most beautiful month in New York City. These autumn-hued Kia Sar flatweaves were hand-woven. You can’t teach this kind of artistry and inspiration. Being around these kilims is meditative. Their weaves embody eternity. Something ancient reaching into the future… #kilimswithsoul by @oona.warpandweft
The beautiful Brooklyn home of dear friends who have always had impeccable taste. Perhaps only missing an area rug from @warpandweftcarpets 😉 by @oona.warpandweft
The last week of August is always bittersweet. Shore A, inspired by the ocean surrounding Nantucket, will ease the blues. Created in collaboration with @workshopapd, knotted with Chinese wild silk, finished with love. #carpetswithsoul by @oona.warpandweft
“The house is like a continuous still-life story. We’re constantly looking for beauty, shifting things around, finding pleasure in new combinations of color and objects.” -Inez van Lamsweerde via @archdigest Eternally inspired by the Water Mill House for @inezandvinoodh. Architecture by @simrel and @desciencelab with interiors by @sachslindores. 📸 @stephenkentjohnson by @oona.warpandweft
