OBSESSED w this new flash piece 🦢🥀 Check my highlights for more available flash🧚🏻‍♀️ #kelownatattoo #kelownasmallbusiness #kelownatattooartist by @openwoundtattoo
Dear friends, I wanted to formally introduce myself to those I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet! I’m Cyrus. I love trinkets, old cult classic movies, and nostalgia. I’ve spent the last few years of my life deep diving into my love of old European culture and art, strange film, pop culture and every genre of music under the sun. You guys have fed into these obsessions with your loyal devotion and support of my art. If you hadn’t noticed, tattooing is my outlet for this true care in my life. I’m OBSESSED with my job. These past five or so years in the industry have been tough, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Thank you for following me on this journey and for believing in my dream. You all have helped me materialize this love of mine and I couldn’t be more grateful. I specialize in high contrast tattooing, but love fineline/ dainty work as well🦋 The showcased work here are some of the fresh and healed pieces from 2025 that I hold closest to my heart. Some are drawn based on photos I’ve taken, some are just based on things I love. I’d love to see you again, or to meet you for the first time! I promise I don’t bite (only stab🖤). Love, Cyrus 🦢💋 #kelowatattooartist #bctattooartist #gothictattoo by @openwoundtattoo
One of my OGs doing a 24 hour round trip from yeg to Kelowna, for this piece alone, is one of the highlights of my career so far 🥹 thank you so much 🎆🫀😭 I genuinely am so thankful for your guys’ support and encouragement. This is a weird/ rough industry to navigate but the faith in what I’m doing out here keeps me pushing. This is the only thing I want to do. No matter how many times I get kicked around I never forget that I still don’t want to do anything else. I genuinely could. Not. Do. This. Without the many lovely people I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to work with. Thank you for trusting me. I promise to continue to do whatever I must keep my clients in healthy, happy environments and to only ever do my very best work. Don’t forget to moisturize 👁️ 👁️🧴 #kelowna #kelownanow #kelownatattoo #gothictattoo #gargoyle #gargoyletattoo #cathedral #cathedraltattoo #gothic by @openwoundtattoo
