A viewing in West Yorkshire. Old chapel and Sunday school, now flats. Carved gateposts, paired windows all down the side, and someone keeping watch on the corner.

Did you spot him? Tell me where you've seen one.

Who guessed right? And would you have sat or walked off?

Up on the roofline.

Carved brackets under the eaves and chimneys you don't get on a new build. Details like these are why we like period blocks.
