Big honors for OP Volleyball. 🏐🐏

Congratulations to Devon Fernandez, Zach Owens, Miles Williamson, and Jeremy Yeager on earning postseason recognition after a historic season for the Rams.

Devon Fernandez led the way with 1st Team All-State, 1st Team Group 1, 1st Team All-Union County, and 1st Team All-Mountain Division honors. Zach Owens earned 1st Team All-Mountain Division recognition, while Miles Williamson and Jeremy Yeager were both named 2nd Team All-Group 1.

An incredible season, and plenty of well-earned recognition for the Rams. Congratulations, boys! 🔥

Congratulations to Steve Zychowski ’09 on his Hall of Fame recognition from the College of the Holy Cross! 🐏⛳

A standout two-sport athlete at Oratory Prep, Steve left his mark on both the court and the course. He was a 1,000-point scorer in basketball, a three-year varsity player, co-captain, team MVP as a Junior and Senior, an All Union County selection, and Oratory’s 2009 Athlete of the Year.

On the golf course, Steve was a four-year varsity member, team captain as a Junior and Senior, a two-time sectional state champion, four-time conference champion, three-time team MVP, four-time First Team All Conference selection, and a three-time member of the Union County Freedom Cup Team. He continued his decorated golf career at Holy Cross, where he became the 2011 New England Intercollegiate Champion.

We are proud to celebrate Steve and his lasting legacy from OP to Holy Cross! ✝️

1,000 career assists for Miles Williamson! 🐏🏐

Senior Miles Williamson reached a major milestone in OP Volleyball’s first-round playoff win over Camden High, recording his 1,000th career assist. After two playoff victories, Miles now sits at 1,082 career assists, including 93 assists across the Rams’ first two playoff wins.

Playoff Rams are rolling 🐏🏐

Senior Captain Devon Fernandez continues to lead the attack, earning First Round Playoff MVP for South Group 1 after posting 25 kills in OP’s three-set victory over Camden High. The UC Santa Barbara commit followed it up with another 23 kills against Pennsauken Tech in the quarterfinals.

Senior Miles Williamson was also recognized for his MVP efforts in the quarterfinal round after finishing with 46 assists against Pennsauken Tech, including 23 to Devon.

The Rams now head to 2-seed Sterling High School for the semifinals on Tuesday at 4:30. Let’s go, OP! 🐏🔥
