As 2025 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to shine a light on someone who truly deserves it Braydon, our gym manager. Years ago, he studied with us (@ahffau ) Then became our PT. Today, he stands as the full manager of two gyms, helping to carry roles most people will never see. He learnt this role under the pressure of 2025 as a chaotic year of growth & success!

Running a business isn’t easy. It’s pressure, decisions, long hours, & weight that never really switches off. But Braydon has done things most employees simply wouldn’t do that’s why he is our talent making sure to help us stay functional while delivering the best service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

He bleeds for Ora literally bleeds green. His effort, his care, his pride in our home is something special. We waited 12 years to find someone like him. Next time your in the gym say hi 👋

Thank you Braydon, not everyday is easy but our team is stronger with you in it. - Malcolm & Sam

Behind Ora is a person who has never been afraid to get his hands dirty.Malcolm Kani, owner, author of “Sweat Equity”, champion kickboxer & the driving force behind Ora 24/7 Gym.

With years of experience in the fitness industry, Malcolm has built something that goes beyond equipment, memberships & training programs. It’s about creating a place where people feel welcome, supported and part of something. He sets the standard to ensure Ora is unlike the rest.

Let’s be honest, walking into a new gym can be intimidating. Not knowing where to start, feeling like just another membership number or struggling to find somewhere you genuinely feel comfortable.

That’s exactly what we want to be different.

From our original Belmont gym to our growing Alkimos community, Ora has been built around people, not corporate targets.

Two locations. One family owned business. One shared philosophy.

Whether you’re looking for a 24/7 gym in Belmont or Alkimos, a fresh start with your fitness or simply somewhere you feel at home, there’s a place for you at Ora.

We’re not here to be the biggest gym organisation. We’re here to make a difference to the people who walk through our doors.

📍 Ora 24/7 Gym Belmont - 96 Belmont Avenue
📍 Ora 24/7 Gym Alkimos - 1 Santorini Promenade

Everyone is welcome. Come and see what makes Ora different.

Some days are about more than just keeping the gym running. 💚 Today, Braydon gave Ora Alkimos some serious attention. From getting everything cleaned up and back to standard, checking equipment and bolts, speaking with members, creating content (with his beautiful fiancé) & making sure every little detail was taken care of.

The best part? Getting to catch up with some of our original members who joined us just over a year ago. Seeing familiar faces still walking through the doors and being part of what we’re building means a lot.

It’s the little things, the pride in the place & the people behind it that make the difference. Which is a small team & family owned - it’s just us & you that make Ora

Ora Alkimos is looking pretty bloody amazing. (We’ll keep that one clean too 😉)

Proud of the team and the standards we want to uphold always, it means a lot to us to ensure we are different from the rest.

💚 GOOD VIBES. GREAT PEOPLE. THE ORA COMMUNITY. 💪

This month, we’re welcoming a new face to the Ora Belmont family instead of our usual Member of the Month we got to hand out some welcome gifts 🎁 With thanks to @nw_westaus @nutritionwarehouse & @sliceofchanelle we had a little welcome pack ready to make him feel right at home.

His positive attitude, infectious energy and can do mindset have been cruising us! 🔥

Because at Ora, it’s not just about lifting weights. It’s about the people who make our community what it is. 🖤💚

Help us give him a big Ora welcome in the comments! 👇

Ora 24/7 Gym didn’t have to do this, and that’s exactly why it means so much 💚⚜️

Ora isn’t an NDIS provider. They had no obligation to get involved. But when we asked about bringing our participants in, they opened their doors without hesitation, and they’ve kept them open ever since.

Through Skout Fit, our participants train at @ora247gym in Perth with a trained Support Worker alongside them. Same gym, same equipment, same welcome as any other member. For a lot of our participants, that welcome is what makes the difference.

This is what real inclusion looks like. Not a program or a policy, just a local business deciding everyone belongs. Thank you, Ora. We’re proud to call you a community partner 🙌

Know a business that goes above and beyond for inclusion? Tag them below, or send this to someone who should see it 👇

ALKIMOS, MEET YOUR NEW TEAM MEMBER! 💪🏽

Starting today, we’ve got Kylah-Rey joining the Ora Alkimos team alongside Byron (our PT on Thursday & Friday) from @f.o.r.g.e.personal.training and Braydon our Gym Manager from @_calastrength_

Kylah-Rey brings a strong sporting background to the team, including signing with the Western Force Super W rugby team, representing Perth Brothers at the Touch Rugby State Championships and competing at the National Youth Touch Football Championships.

She’s no stranger to hard work, teamwork & discipline, and she’s keen to learn the ropes and get some hands on experience in the fitness industry.

So, if you see Kylah-Rey around the gym, make sure you say g’day, introduce yourself and help us make her feel welcome.

She’s new to the job, so be kind, have a chat and give her a chance to find her feet. We’re all a beginner once

📍 Kylah-Rey’s hours at Ora Alkimos this week:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 4:30pm to 7pm
Saturday: 9am to 12 noon

Next week only Monday 4:30pm to 7pm
Braydon is in Saturday from 9am to 12 noon

📍 Byron’s hours at Ora Alkimos each week:
Thursday: 3pm to 7pm
Friday: 9am to 12 noon

Welcome to the team, Kylah-Rey! 💚🖤 by @ora247gym

Fitness Passport x Ora 24/7 Gym has been one of the best things we’ve introduced, and today Malcolm took the time to show some of our new members around Ora Belmont.

It was great watching the master at work. Decades in the industry and he’s still just as passionate about helping people find their feet in the gym.

One thing Malcolm said that stuck with me was what he said, he explained new members sometimes go way to hard so in the first few weeks don’t go too hard, too soon. We’ve all seen it happen. You go all in during the first week, end up too sore to move, and suddenly the gym doesn’t seem so appealing!

His advice? Treat those first few weeks like the honeymoon period. Get comfortable, make a routine, keep showing up and aim for around a 4 out of 10 in effort. (1 being the lightest weight vs 10 being the hardest weight you’ve ever lifted) You’ve got plenty of time to push harder as you build confidence in the coming weeks, months or years.

Sometimes the biggest win isn’t how hard you train. It’s simply walking through the door and coming back again.

That’s how you build something that lasts. 💚
Malcolm is still the OG! by @ora247gym

Oh Sharon! Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are so proud of our facility!
