24-Hydrangea Kusudama Designers: Shuzo Fujimoto and Ximo Perales This figure is a rhombicuboctahedron made using modular origami and composed of 24 modules. Each module is a Cross with Hydrangea, a figure that I had previously published on this account and which is a variation of Shuzo Fujimoto’s Hydrangea. ✨ When assembled, the 24 crosses are positioned at the 24 vertices of the rhombicuboctahedron, giving rise to an open spherical structure in which geometry and floral forms merge into a single shape. 🌸🔷 This figure was presented during the live session I had with Mariela Recinos on her Instagram account, origamimaniacs, on July 12, 2025, prior to its publication on social media. I would like to sincerely thank her for the opportunity she gave me to share my designs and give them visibility with her audience. 🙏💛 The figure was folded using six sheets of Elephant Hide paper, three white and three light brown, each originally 30 × 30 cm and cut into four 15 × 15 cm squares. The paper is from @katiaorigamishop. 📄🤍🤎 #shuzofujimoto #origamiconximo #origamihydrangea #tessellation #hydrangea by @origami_con_ximo
