What an incredible marathon year Louise Taylor (@louise_active_challenge) is having!
Fresh off tackling the @sydney_marathon and @lochnessmarathon, she kept the momentum going by heading to the Big Apple for the @nycmarathon.
Navigating a tough course while recovering from past injuries, Louise executed a smart run/walk strategy and crossed the finish line in a fantastic 5:32—an amazing feat on one of the most brutal major courses out there.
With New York locked in, she has officially completed 5 of the original 6 World Marathon Majors, leaving just the @bostonmarathon in her sights!
Huge congratulations on a fantastic performance, Louise! 👏🏃‍♀️✨ by @orionharriers

Huge congratulations to Fulva Giust (@fulvagiust) for completing the @egnazia_half__marathon 10K in Italy last weekend! 🇮🇹🏃‍♀️
Describing the course as a lot of fun, Fulva even had to leap over low walls to avoid flooded paths! She crossed the finish line in a fantastic time of 1:06—made all the more impressive considering the route was well over 10K (6.49 miles to be exact).

Fabulous job, Fulva! 🎉👏 by @orionharriers

Great job to everyone who took on the tough, hilly terrain at One Tree Hill on Saturday for the second Essex Cross Country League race of the season! Fantastic running across the board. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Next Up: Gloucester Park, Basildon – Saturday, 5th December.
Please head over to Spond and sign up if you can make it! 😊 by @orionharriers

Huge congratulations to Eimhear McIntyre Gowers (@eimhearg ) and Tracy Keir (@keirtracy ) on their incredible performances at the @dublinmarathon!

Eimhear smashed out a fantastic new PB of 4:18:12—and her post-race photos say it all! Tracy put in a brilliant effort as well, crossing the finish line in 5:46:21.
Massive well done to both of these amazing runners. Enjoy your well-earned post-marathon rest! 🎉 Rest up and celebrate! by @orionharriers

Huge congratulations to our brilliant Orion representatives who took on the @mediomaratonvlc Valencia Half Marathon yesterday. ☀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Now officially part of the @super_halfs series, this race is fast becoming a favourite. While the Valencia weather was glorious, the warm temperatures made all 13.1 miles a true test of endurance—but our runners powered through!

👏 Gerhard Swart (@sampieswart ) – 1:43:31 (Ticking off his 5th SuperHalf!)
👏 Katherine Taylor (@kath_er_ine_t ) – 2:05:04 (Kicking off her SuperHalf journey in style!)
👏 Harriet Whitehead – 2:18:38 (Completing her 4th SuperHalf marathon!)

Fantastic running from all three of you. We’re so proud! 🙌🎉 by @orionharriers

What a fabulous weekend in Venice! 🇮🇹🏃‍♀️

A massive congratulations to Lisa Barham (@lisa.barham ), Lucy Benson (@lucyfbenson ) and Shelley Ainsworth (@shelleyainsworth73 ) , who represented the club brilliantly at the @venicemarathon_official!

Lisa proved what true grit looks like—despite nursing injuries and being unable to run for weeks, she dug deep, walked from the 10k mark, and still crossed the line in a fantastic 4:52:16! An incredible effort to be super proud of.
Shelley smashed out a shiny new PB, finishing in an awesome 4:52:29!
Lucy flew around the course to secure her own fantastic PB with a brilliant 4:38:37!

As you can see, they are now taking a well-deserved break to enjoy some Venetian sightseeing.

Well done, ladies! Absolutely amazing running from you all! 👏🎉 by @orionharriers

Set in the picturesque grounds of Corfe Castle in Dorset, Laura delivered a strong performance, recording an impressive time of 2:38:27 to finish 7th in the FV40 category.
The course presented a serious challenge, taking in 1,417ft of elevation across terrain that stretched closer to 25km than the advertised half marathon distance. Laura tackled the demanding hills brilliantly from start to finish.
Fantastic work, Laura ⁩—a truly outstanding result! 👏🏃‍♀️ by @orionharriers

What an absolute masterclass from Anna Hamilton-Hay (@annahay15 ) at the @burystedmundshalf! 💥
Supposedly taking it “easy” while recovering from a recent injury, Anna crushed the course to finish in a phenomenal 1:27 which also meant she earned the silver female medal!! ⏱️🔥

Superb effort, Anna! Wishing you a smooth and speedy full recovery—keep shining! 🙌🏃‍♀️ by @orionharriers
