Protest march: Sunday 3rd March 1.30pm Hyde Park.
It's not too late to join. It's not too late to speak out. It's not too late to unlearn what they taught you in school/in the media/in your home.

Dad's back. Excited to dance this with y'all on Wednesday nights for the next 2 weeks. Will post it up on Patreon too! Equal parts tuff + silly + muscle mommy. I think I needed some of this energy for me too, so I made this chorey. xoxo Oryx

Elbow grip. Cos then you can rest your hand, hold a prop, or grip with a part of your body that is potentially less sweaty? Your body gets used to the pain the more you do it lol. Just start gradually. Tute for this on my Patreon. Song is 'Chrysalis' by @kellymoran__ . I feel like I'm in some kinda metamorphosis rn.

Currently on placement, missing dancing with my students. Soz about the crotch view. Swirly tute on my Patreon. Will upload this routine too! Miss y'all, miss my Dad, miss my community, miss how expansive time felt when I was a baby poler, miss my past selves, scared of the future, but holding onto hope? by @oryxart

Sometimes you feel like a husk, but you just keep going 💫 AI summary: Oryx, a pole dancer and physio masters student, reflects dryly on the tenacity of the human spirit while performing unnatural ankle movements in 8 inch heels to the Love theme from the Mandy film soundtrack 😆

Shadowfax isn't actually meant to be white. In the books, he is described as shimmery silver in the sunlight and he blends in with the darkness at night. So. But there is a lot of white = good and black/dark = bad throughout the books that is further emphasised in the films. But there are also baddies, some Gandalf-led discussion about restrictive gender roles (see: discussion of Eowyn's ailments in the Houses of Healing), psychoanalysis, anti-war & prison industrial complex stuff, friendship love, and capacity for change and healing.

Fantasy Fridays / Everything is a Fantasy under Capitalism [My fantasy is not playing guitar or bass for years and then picking up a guitar and coherently playing this solo without any of my fingers hurting]

Editing a pole handstand tute rn. Here's an old vid of me and @lainie.accented.flow having a convo about this handstand (the grip, the shoulder position, the lack of kneepads hehe). I have many videos over the years of Lainie cheering me on as I train 😚😚😚. @luvlysylvia was there too. I miss you both ♡. by @oryxart
