What makes a wedding ceremony an Oso Ceremony?
A wedding celebrant's answer, from Ibiza.

Planning a ceremony in Europe or the UAE? Send me a message and tell me how you met. by @osoibiza

A little warm-up before Christine and Luke's Ibiza celebration. The most memorable of afternoons at Casa La Vista, planned perfectly by Ruth Alexander, and just look at this incredible ceremony space by Velvet Circus. Shot by Pablo Laguia. Wonderful.

Every wedding begins with an idea, a feeling or a little spark of inspiration. From there, the creative concept unfolds.

We love exploring different floral directions, colour palettes and creative concepts, each with its own character and atmosphere. From bold citrus tones to deep burgundy blooms, every theme tells a different story matching the couples personalities.

A little glimpse of where we've been working on this season. Much more to come. by @osoibiza

Now that the Ibiza sun is disappearing behind the clouds for a while, I'm harking back to the lovely light on this day when my pal @natashamarshallphotography brought her camera to our little meetup at Can Tixedo.

We're often found here, shooting the breeze about weddings and whatnot over an espresso and a plate of artichoke flowers.

The laughing stills are my favourites, and they’re a good record of what happens at our table.

The island is slowing down, which makes it a perfect time for coffee and for thinking about next season’s ceremonies. Thank you, Tash, for keeping the summer alive in these photos. by @osoibiza

Yash & Ravi celebrated their love at Castell de Son Claret, surrounded by their closest people and saying “I love you” once again, this time as husband and wife.

Some words never lose their meaning. Especially when you mean every single one.

What is luxury (to you)?

Is it:

Your friends and family on a terrace with blue skies and palm trees?

Being surrounded by your most precious friends.
Your first look.
Just saying I DO
Your unique dress.
Simple flowers.
Good food.
Fine tunes.
There are those moments alone.
Or with ‘those ones’
His words, their words all the words.

The luxury of your Ibiza wedding day is nothing to do with money spent. It is to do with you.

Tell us what your luxury is for your wedding day. by @osoibiza

I think we need to face it. A majority of wedding ceremonies are boring, they're dull. Lifeless. No personality.

And if you've ever been a guest at a wedding, I can see you nodding your head in agreement.

You've endured the ceremony by sitting in silence and twiddling your thumbs politely until you can have a drink and get to the fun part of the day.

Am I right?

If you're a couple getting married, your wedding ceremony should be the rocket that shoots the two of you and your guests up into the sky.

It starts the wedding day, so it should be a celebration, not just a ceremony, but a celebration - that connects the two of you deeply, brings together all of your family and friends, and establishes the mood for everything that comes after.

Without a great ceremony, your wedding will never reach its true potential. It will never be what it could be, and think how great it could be.

So put some effort into thinking about your wedding ceremony. Consider how you want it to feel. Not just how it looks.

Choose a venue with a great ceremony space.

If you're thinking of working with a wedding planner, pick someone who understands what a great ceremony can bring to your wedding day.

And, of course, it goes without saying, you MUST choose a great Celebrant. Someone who will collaborate with you, bring ideas to life, and someone with energy and personality, who can deliver the ceremony that your wedding day truly deserves.
