Hi! I’ve never made an ~official~ introduction post and that kinda feels like it could be a thing to do now!
•
I’m Lauren! I grew up in Canton, NC and I’ve spent my entire life in WNC. I graduated hair school in 2020(built clientele without ever knowing what some people’s faces looked like 🥲) and I’ve worked my entire hair career in Asheville.
•
Before hair I was a bartender at a restaurant I worked at for 11 years. I’m loyal! LOVED bartending and would have continued doing my shift a week if the place …still existed lmao.
•
I have two cats that I’m obsessed with. Abel is my ornery old man, my kitten sized tabby cat. Tate is my orange sweet po-tate-o, just your goofy orange guy.
•
Im deeply into astrology. When you book online I have you put in a birthday for a reason 👀 and if you show up with a birth time id LOVE to read your chart. Don’t make any judgement(because you should be impressed and in awe obv), but I’m an Aries Sun, moon, rising, and mercury. 😈

Social media is my least favorite part of this job and I’m awful at taking a picture of some hair WHEN I remember. Despite this I do want to remind everyone I do have some availability for the holidays! You can book something with the link in my bio or you’re always welcome to message me! All new color clients will need a color consultation.

Always obsessed with what Taylor lets me do on her green & black split dye 🤤 💚🖤 by @otherworldly_hair

Obsessed with this Calico hair done on my grade-school bestie! Crazy that we’re old enough that we’re experiencing a revival of the(much loved) raccoon stripe that people were doing when we were in high school.
Scroll for the Highschool picture tax, that was actually taken April 9th, 2011. by @otherworldly_hair

Tried to go as long as possible, but with increasing product cost I need to raise the price of my color services this spring. Most of my color services will only increase by $10-$20 dollars, and vivid colors will change to an hourly rate.
Every appointment currently on my book will remain at the price you booked at, and I will remind you of the price increase at your next appointment. If you’re a client who books when you’re ready for your next service and you have any questions absolutely reach out!
💚
Just while I have people reading I would please like to remind every one of my cancellation policies that are in my story highlights. They’re not changing at all because I feel they are very fair, but I always try to be very understanding so I know I’ve been bad to not enforce them and I’m going to start being stricter about that.
💚
I hope everyone has a lovely spring and always reach out with any questions! by @otherworldly_hair
