⚔️ QUICK S/O FOR A REAL ONE ⚔️

So my 3 month long project in #LasVegas was a wake up call for me. It ultimately helped make up my mind with starting my own business when I returned to Chicago. Now I’m grateful for everyone I met and got to connect with but this #DopeSoul right here @izak.v most definitely assisted in helping me stay calm and collective when things were going sideways. So with that being said, thank you & much love brutha and just know that you got Dope Souls on the lookout for you across the world!

Also a quick S/O to the brother from another mother @nwp_nasik (founder of @devious_souls) for the 🔥 apparel!!!🙏🙏🙏

🇻🇳 Phodega is a must-visit, Vietnamese bodega-themed restaurant and one of the best hangout spots in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Co-owners Nate Hoops and Anthony Ngo keep Vietnamese culture strong by serving up street food classics like Phở Bò, Hainan chicken rice, fried chicken rice, and Bánh Mì alongside viral drink creations like their Ube Horchata and Lychee Lemonade. From cool local collabs like the Galbi Chopped Cheese Bánh Mì with Mister Tiger (which was absolutely delicious—please bring this back!) to partnerships with Gangnam Market and Chicago Tribe, Phodega truly has something for everybody.

🛫LIFE UPDATE from the past couple weeks!🛫

Posting this backwards on purpose, because that’s how it feels looking back. Started in LA, stayed in Orange County, then up to San Francisco and over to New York City. Now the photos run NYC to SF to LA, like rewinding a tape. Every frame is a sprint, a hug, a meal that hit the spot, and birthday candles somewhere between gates and deadlines. Work kept me moving, people kept me grounded, and good food kept me smiling. Grateful for every city, every reunion, and every mile!!!

Congrats to you two!!!🎉🎉🎉

Issa Vibe!!!💫💫💫

JFCA event walk through…..🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵

Dinner with the crew that turned into our own little club with a DJ and everything!!!😅😅😅

Morning drive from Staten Island to the venue in Brooklyn. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

San Francisco had ZERO dull moments from driving to mountain tops, befriending squirrels with no fear whatsoever, to giving a presentation and doing a tasting…..🌉🌉🌉

Be sure to check out “Yamo” a dope little mom and pops shop that makes some 💣 ass food at a price point you won’t find anywhere in the Bay Area.

Los Angeles and Orange County definitely was a memorable one this time around from eating at restaurants like @the.sanfranciscan (killer prime ribs), @moobongri.irvine (live octopus and phenomenal Korean dishes), @izakaya_akatsuki_gardena (Japanese comfort food), @oyshicha25 (gave me my caffeine fix during both days while putting in that work) and @kickincrabatthecircle (seafood boil that most definitely hit the spot). I even had time to swing by @nipseyhussle ‘s shop before flying out to San Francisco. by @othmane101891

🚨 PSA 🚨

To all my family and friends who reached out to wish me a happy birthday the past couple of days, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🫶🫶🫶

My apologies for taking a couple of days to respond. Life has been a little busy, but please know that every call, message, and thoughtful wish truly meant the world to me.

As life goes on, I’ve learned to appreciate the little things even more, especially the people who take a moment to let you know you’re in their thoughts.

I’m grateful for another year of life, but even more grateful for the people who make the journey special.

Sending you all much love and blessings in return. 🙏🥰🙏

🇵🇷 Humboldt Park was DIFFERENT yesterday!!! 🇵🇷

Good food, good people, and nothing but REAL Chicago vibes. @ahkschops × @cecebke brought the community together right in the heart of Humboldt Park — chopped cheese hitting the grill, music in the air, and love all around.

This is what Chicago is about: different people, one neighborhood, one table, and one hell of a vibe…😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Much love to everyone who showed up and showed OUT. Humboldt Park definitely understood the assignment. 🔥

Puerto Rican flavor. Chicago heart. ❤️‍🔥

@spocom was one hell of an experience for a first timer. It gave me a new perspective on how I look at cars and even some new ideas too. Spocom has events nationwide so get in tune and check out their next event!

🗣️ Good Food PSA 🗣️

Here’s the last of my recommendations with my last work trip to the west coast this past couple weeks!

1.) Slides 1-3: When in Vegas and craving Thai cuisine. Don’t snooze on this one “KROK Social”. Chef TK is setting a standard with the dishes he’s curated. They have specials depending on the day of the week and offer dishes you can’t find anywhere else in the area.

@kroksocial

2.) Slides 4-13: Japanese cuisine on a different level. This is a spot located in the Dallas, TX area that gives off Japanese fine dining vibes. The food most definitely hits the spot and the service is one of a kind.

@takumihachi.dallas

3.) Slides 14-16: Texas BBQ that puts you in a food coma for sure because you just can’t stop eating!!!😅 be sure to tap in with this spot when you’re in the state of Texas.

@rudysbbq

4.) Slides 17-19: Texas BBQ with home cooked vibes and “southern hospitality” that’s on a pristine level. This spot has been around for a few decades in the Dallas, TX area and when I say the food and vibes there hits the spot. Best believe that I mean it to the fullest!!! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

🚨Foodies Tap In🚨

1.) Slides 1-5: First time trying this spot. Their specialty is Yakitori (Japanese skewers). I tried everything from Sasami (chicken tenderloin), Tsukune, Chicken heart/liver, tofu and many more! Definitely check them out if you’re ever in the LA, California area. Reservations recommended.

@yakitori_nishi

2.) Slides 6-10: Looking for nostalgia and some 💣 ass pizza. Look no further….. @andythenguyen and his team executed this one with precision!
Located in Santa Monica LA…😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

@tmntpizzeriala

3.) Slides 11-13: This one is for all my Korean Food Lovers out there! Decided to check out this hidden gem while looking for lunch options in Rowland Heights CA just south of LA towards Irvine. This was as traditional and authentic as it got! We ordered the #GamJaTang(spicy potato stew) and #Bosam…. Perfection to say the least!

+ Gam Ja Chon
18891 Colima Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748

4.) Slides 14-20: Defintely one of my top 3 places for Japanese style BBQ in the US that I have personally been to. Be sure to try their Liver Sashimi (which is hard to find stateside and is actually banned in Japan now). Every aspect of this spot was on point from service to the quality of the food! This spot is an essential if you find yourself in Las Vegas, NV.

@samuraibbqlv

I hope this list and the next one gives you all some new places to try out nationwide when you’re traveling!!!

🚨🚨 Milestone Celebration 🚨🚨

@kimskichicago threw one hell of a banger to celebrate their 10 year anniversary today bringing Asian vendors from all around the Midwest together in one place at Maria’s. The founder is most definitely “one of a kind” to say the least with Korean roots intertwined with Chi City heritage! I can go on and on and on but let me end it here by saying #LFG & 축하드립니다, 형!

PS I know I left a lot of collaborators hanging with the “mentions” and “tags”…. Please tag them accordingly……..

🚨 PSA 🚨

So I love my #Noods and if you do too and you happen to be in Orlando…… Make sure that you don’t snooze on this one because their noodles literally and figuratively #SLAP !!!😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

This is probably the best noods of this style (Chinese) that I had in all of the places I’ve visited in the US.

Every aspect of the dish is made and cooked to perfection!!!😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

The noodles are made in house and you can see the chefs slapping it up in person through the glass pane. It’s not wagyu but the meat literally melts in your mouth. Portions are AMAZING for the price that you pay.

Despite being packed with customers. The service was on point and the food came out in a blink of an eye…..🙌🙌🙌

I was told that this is the only location for restaurant but I can definitely see them expanding nationwide.

🚨 Public Service Announcement 🚨

First off—congrats to @sho.chicago on all the recognition since opening in August 2025. Well deserved.

I had the chance to go back for a second time and experience their spring menu, featuring ingredients sourced from around the world. Every element was dialed in—each bite layered, balanced, and honestly… borderline foodgasmic from start to finish.

The creativity behind every dish really sets them apart. Nothing felt repetitive, everything felt intentional.

Bottom line: #TrendSetters.
If you haven’t been yet… don’t sleep on this one.
