🎭 Dramatic? Yes. Foodie? Always. Traveler? Forever. Adventure? That’s my language.

I’m Bernadette Carter, @ourfoodvisas sazón traveler and foodie storyteller — Afro Latina, Puerto Rican, BIPOC, Brooklyn-born, Metro DC tested. I eat the culture, I tell the history, I go where the flavor is.

🗺️ This is Our Food Visas — food, travel, culture, and a little drama, because why not?

➡️ Follow along, let’s eat the world.🌎

Marigolds in my hair, ancestors on my heart. They never really leave — they just change form, and tonight I wear their memory in full color. 🌼💀🕯️

Rent-A-Girlfriend: Thanksgiving Packages are officially OPEN 🦃

Silver gets you two hours, matching outfits, and me laughing at jokes that are only kinda funny. Platinum gets you all day, hand-holding during grace, and an “I love you” in front of the whole family.

Payment accepted in cash, plates, and to-go plates. Serious inquiries only — no refunds after dessert. 😂 Choose wisely, fellas. The aunties are watching.

Peru just swept SIX World Travel Awards — Leading Destination, Culinary Destination, and Machu Picchu as Leading Tourist Attraction (ninth time!) — and honestly? I get it. I was just there a few years ago. 🇵🇪🏆 My Osprey came with me through all of it. This pack has SEEN things. 🎒@osprey
