Today, Mexico celebrates Día de Muertos. 🧡 With great pride, we share the altars designed by Ovando over the years.

An altar is a welcome home: a place where families gather marigolds, candles, favorite foods and photographs to remember the people they love. It is one of Mexico’s most beautiful traditions, a celebration of memory, color and life. 🕯️

The Halloween Edit, as Ovando sees it. A buffet station in black and marigold, a storefront dressed in sculptural pumpkins: the season, composed from the florals out.

For a home inspired by the world of Harry Potter, Ovando composed a console of leather-bound books, anthurium in lime and burgundy, moss and black pumpkins, with a few toads in witches’ hats. 🧙‍♀️ Wishing you an enchanted evening. 🪄

Lady Delilah opened its doors in the Meatpacking District, and the evening called for roses. 🥀 Crimson blooms, deep calla lilies and trailing amaranthus, set in silver and brass against the warmth of the room. Florals by Ovando.

A Halloween stoop in teal, violet and black, designed by Ovando. Glittering pumpkins, pillar candles and a pair of wreaths with ravens, set on the front steps for the season.

Whose stoop is it? We’ll let you guess. 🖤
