WE HAVE MADE IT TO THE NOËL COWARD THEATRE! This evening we have been kindly invited along to catch the West End transfer of the Stephen Sondheim masterpiece Into The Woods at The Noël Coward Theatre. Playing until the 9th January. We all know how the story begins. But what happens after it ends? Once upon a time… The Baker and his wife. A Witch with a curse. A boy and his cow. A girl in a red cloak. A maiden with long flowing hair. A servant covered in cinders. All journey deep into the dark woods. To sell the cow To visit mother To go to the festival To lift the spell As the adventure unfolds and paths entwine, wishes are made, slippers are lost, beanstalks take flight and new friendships are forged – revealing that life beyond ‘happily ever after’ can still be full of magic, even when there’s darkness. Stay tuned for our review coming out tomorrow via our social media pages. @intothewoodsonstage #giftedforanhonestreview #shortandsweetreview #intothewoods #ovationradio by @ovationradio

REDCLIFFE THE NEW MUSICAL ANNOUNCES WEST END TRANSFER! It has been announced that Jordan Luke Gage's Redcliffe will run at the Criterion Theatre for a 12-week season from Thursday 28th January 2027. With a press night scheduled for Thursday 4th February 2027. The musical is set in 18th-century England and takes its story from the real William Critchard and Richard Arnold in Redcliffe, Bristol: two men who fall in love in a world set on keeping them apart. Gage said: “I am beyond thrilled that Redcliffe is transferring to the West End, giving us the chance to share this story with even more people. Our run at Southwark Playhouse was incredibly special, and the response deeply moving. I’m excited to build on that momentum, challenge perspectives, open hearts and spark meaningful conversations. The Criterion Theatre is the perfect home for Redcliffe, allowing us to expand the world we’ve created while preserving the intimacy and sense of community at the heart of the show.” The transfer follows the off-West End world premiere at Southwark Playhouse Borough earlier this year. The show was first presented at the Turbine Theatre during MTFestUK in 2024, then played eight sold-out workshop performances at The Other Palace. Gage won Best Composer, Lyricist or Book Writer for it at The Stage Debut Awards 2026. Jordan Luke Gage, who wrote the book, music and lyrics, returns as William Critchard. Further cast & creatives yet to be announced. @redcliffemusical @criterion_theatre #westendtransfer #redcliffe #jordanlukegage #criteriontheatre #ovationradio by @ovationradio

WE NEED THIS BACK IN OUR LIVES IMMEDIATELY! Check out the production shots from LOVE NEVER DIES IN CONCERT, which played only five performances at The London Palladium on October. With a score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Lloyd Webber, Slater, Ben Elton and Frederick Forsyth, this spectacular new musical reunites the masked Phantom with his only true love and musical protégée, the stunning beauty Christine Daaé. Love Never Dies is a roller-coaster ride of intrigue, obsession and romance – where little is as it first appears. With Madame Giry’s help, the Phantom escaped the Paris mobs to build a glittering new empire in the new world. For ten long years The Phantom has hidden himself amongst the freaks and sideshows nursing his broken heart and yearning for his true love to return. And now… Starring Jamie Muscato as the Phantom, Celinde Schoenmaker as Christine and George Blagden as Raoul, Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to The Phantom of the Opera returns for a very special concert production, directed by Shaun Kerrison. Does anyone else miss this!?!? 📷 Pamela Raith #loveneverdies #londonpalladium #andrewlloydwebber #jamiemuscato #ovationradio by @ovationradio
A COMMUNITY SPACE NEEDS OUR SUPPORT! Victoria Hall Theatre is a place where people come together to create, perform and belong. It brings audiences, performers and volunteers together through a shared love of live theatre. Now, this community space needs your support. We are raising £70,000 to address the theatre’s roof, with essential work needing to take place in August 2027. A theatre built on community. At the heart of Victoria Hall is a community of people who give their time, energy and creativity to keep local theatre alive. A committee of volunteers, working alongside the theatre’s user groups, helps support the building and the activities within it. From organising productions and rehearsals to welcoming audiences and working backstage, their collective effort makes the theatre possible. Our community reaches across Harlow and the surrounding areas, bringing together people with different backgrounds, experiences and talents. Whether someone is stepping onto a stage for the first time, returning to a lifelong passion or simply enjoying a performance, Victoria Hall offers somewhere to connect. We want Victoria Hall Theatre to remain a welcoming home for the arts—a place where local creativity can grow and people can experience the joy of live performance. Our vision is for user groups to continue developing their work, volunteers to share their skills, and audiences to enjoy the talent found across Harlow and the surrounding areas. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/raise-the-roof-for-victoria-hall-theatre @vickyhallharlow #communityarts #communitythetare #victoriahalltheatre #ovationradio by @ovationradio
CHECK OUT THE FULL CAST OF FLY YOU FOOLS! Following two hugely successful seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Recent Cutbacks announces the cast for Fly, You Fools! Coming to Southwark Playhouse Borough in London from the 25th November until the 16th January. Following its London run, Fly, You Fools! heads to Birmingham Rep for five performances from the 20-23 January. Created by the team behind Hold on to Your Butts, Fly, You Fools! is a live, shot-for-shot parody of the first film in the most iconic fantasy franchise ever made. Four performers take on an epic adventure, using physical comedy, live sound effects, character impersonations, mime and theatrical ingenuity to recreate Middle-Earth live on stage. Compressing the beloved novel and epic 178-minute film into a riotous 60-minute theatrical experience, Fly, You Fools! celebrates the source material in a show for Tolkien obsessives and newcomers alike - a lovingly crafted celebration of fandom, film and live theatre. The London run comes in the 25th anniversary year of The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring film release, following the show's sell-out Edinburgh seasons and the success of Recent Cutbacks' Hold on to Your Butts, which won over UK audiences in 2024 and 2025. This is going to be something very special! Funny....but special! @swkplay @recentcutbacks #flyyoufools #southwarkplayhouse #londontransfer #ovationradio by @ovationradio
