COMING HOME

This Taurus Full Moon asks a beautifully uncomfortable question: Does the life that keeps you safe also make you feel alive?

The Moon at 2° Taurus opposes the Scorpio Sun, while Pluto at 3° Aquarius squares them both. This fixed T-square brings tension between what we preserve, what can no longer remain hidden and the systems shaping our future.

Taurus wants stability. Scorpio reveals the hidden cost. Pluto asks who holds the power.

Collectively, this may surface through rising costs of food, housing and energy — and through the material price of our digital future. Someone always pays the bill.

Venus, ruler of this Full Moon, is retrograde at 29° Libra after her cazimi. She returns from the underworld with a message about love, money, fairness and value:

The terms of exchange must change.

This may concern a relationship, but also your salary, prices, unpaid work or a financial agreement. Mercury retrograde returns unfinished conversations and the fine print.

Perhaps the numbers still work on paper, but your body is paying the difference.

You may have an income, but no energy left. A relationship, but no space to be yourself. Belonging, but only while you remain useful or silent.

Chiron beside the Moon and opposite Venus touches the wound beneath it all: the fear that choosing ourselves will cost us love or belonging. Healing begins when connection no longer requires self-abandonment.

The exalted Taurus Moon speaks quietly — through exhaustion, tension and the relief that arrives when we finally admit what we want. The body shows us what is sustainable.

The Sun’s sextile to Lilith offers mature disobedience: the courage to stop obeying roles that require self-betrayal. Its trine to the North Node points towards more honest relationships and communities.

Which false security am I ready to stop financing with my silence, my body, my money or my truth?

The new life does not begin with fireworks. It begins when our energy stops feeding what is no longer true.

Welcome to the 10/10 Portal and a new lunar cycle, both carrying the promise of a fresh beginning. But this time, a new beginning might ask us to leave something behind first.

Libra, symbolized by the scales, speaks to our deep desire for harmony, connection and balance in our relationships. Yet with Venus, the ruler of this lunation, having started her retrograde journey on October 3rd, we are invited to take a closer look at what we believe we are worth, and how much of ourselves we are willing to sacrifice to be loved. This journey is not necessarily a comfortable one. It takes us straight into our fears, insecurities, old wounds and all those places where we have learned to abandon ourselves in exchange for love. Where are we still people-pleasing, swallowing our truth, crossing our own boundaries just to keep someone else happy? And: why do we keep doing it, even when we know the price?

Sometimes life has a rather brutal way of showing us what we refuse to see. But there is a gift in all of this, because understanding the roots of these patterns gives us the chance to finally change them. We need to become our own admirers, recognize our own value and learn to treat ourselves as something precious. Only then can we build relationships rooted in mutual respect, where love doesn’t require us to disappear.

With this lunation opposing Saturn, there is also a serious lesson in maturity and personal responsibility. We may be asked to make uncomfortable decisions, have conversations we’ve been avoiding or finally let go of a status quo that has long stopped feeling right. Growing up emotionally sometimes means accepting that keeping the peace and being true to ourselves are not always the same thing.

And yet, with Jupiter offering a supportive sextile, there is a beautiful reminder that letting go doesn’t have to mean losing. Sometimes it simply creates space for new people and experiences that inspire us to become more of who we really are.

Because the real magic begins when we stop abandoning ourselves and start making room for the life and love we truly deserve.

Let’s look at how Hilma af Klint (1862–1944) uses astrology to map the process of evolution.

In Paris, looking at three paintings from her series The Dove, I began to see the zodiac as three great movements:

Aries · Taurus · Gemini · Cancer — the world comes into being.
Leo · Virgo · Libra · Scorpio — life unfolds in all its intensity.
Sagittarius · Capricorn · Aquarius · Pisces — wisdom, time, dissolution—and return.

It made me think of the Hindu Trimurti:

Brahma creates.
Vishnu sustains.
Shiva dissolves.

I can’t prove this was Hilma’s intention. But sometimes, traditions born far apart seem to trace the same hidden order.

And no—this doesn’t mean that one sign is more evolved, better or worse than another. Each carries a different quality of the cycle, and each needs to be understood and given its place.

Nothing simply ends. Form dissolves, space opens, and the wheel begins again.

Birth. Life. Death. Rebirth.

The eclipses brought impulses, endings, revelations and unexpected turns. Virgo now asks: What was real? What was projection? What needs to be cleaned up, repaired or finally put into practice?

And this is not an ordinary New Moon.

Almost every important point in the chart stands between 29° and 0° — on the strange threshold between a story that is ending and one that has not quite begun.

Venus has just entered Scorpio and is already moving through the shadow of her upcoming retrograde. She is going underground now — into love, money, sex, jealousy, loyalty, desire, power and control. Into everything we like to believe we have already healed.

Opposite Chiron at 0° Taurus, Venus touches the place that still wonders:

Am I safe enough to open?
Am I worthy of being chosen?

And the sky creates a rare passage through this tension: Mystic Rectangle.

What we called chemistry may be an old wound recognising something familiar.

What we called loyalty may be the fear of letting go.

What we called belonging may have required us to perform.

Repeat what feels familiar — or value yourself enough to choose differently.

Chiron, the South Node and Lilith form a Grand Trine. Venus and the North Node turn it into a Double Kite. It does not want us to endlessly analyse the wound, worship the past or build an identity around being rejected. It wants to move through Venus — through the way we love, choose, receive and value ourselves — and through the North Node in Aquarius, towards a different kind of future and belonging.

Mercury in Libra wants diplomacy, but his square to Lilith makes polite avoidance impossible. We need language that is honest without becoming cruel, precise without becoming cold, and peaceful without becoming pleasing.

Uranus stationed retrograde only hours before this New Moon, making the air electric. Information may surface. A message, conversation or sudden realisation may change the whole picture.

The eclipses opened the door.

Virgo places the tools in our hands. Now we have to build a life that can hold the truth we have seen. by @over_the_moon_chronicles

While the solar eclipse of August 12 was fireworks, this partial lunar eclipse feels like a huge ocean wave — cleansing and hyper-emotional.
Its connection to the fixed star Fomalhaut makes this eclipse highly idealistic and spiritual, but it also tests our integrity. Fomalhaut can lift us high when our intentions are clean — and bring a fall when someone claims moral authority or a high position without actually living by those values.
The eclipse happens on the Virgo–Pisces axis, closing a chapter we have collectively been working through for almost two years. One last time, we are being asked: What illusions are we still holding onto? Where can we finally stop sacrificing ourselves?
Patterns of avoidance, victimhood and codependency are illuminated. Did I abandon my own needs and boundaries and now feel exhausted or drained? How does my body react to my job, my partner, my friendships?
With Fomalhaut, there is a chance for a major shift in perception — strong visions, dreams and revelations. Something can suddenly become very clear. For those doing inner or spiritual work, this eclipse can go very deep.
And if we resisted creating clarity over the last years, the exact Uranus T-square can bring it like a lightning bolt: old secrets on the table, things we didn’t want to know, truths we avoided looking at. Whatever you’ve been hiding from yourself, this eclipse wants to make it visible.
That’s why Mercury sits right in the middle of the story. There is a strong revolutionary vibe around this lunation. Where honest, constructive communication has been suppressed, or nobody wants to take responsibility, the tension will not simply disappear. Over the next six months, whatever remains unresolved can become louder.
The drama becomes avoidable only when the truth finally enters the room.
And then there is the Yod between Sun/Mercury, Pluto and Neptune. It can create the feeling that everything needs to be destroyed.

Sometimes the whole structure isn’t wrong. One intelligent move changes everything — one adjustment and suddenly something that looked broken can become alive again. The eclipse may reveal the crack — but also exactly where to repair it. by @over_the_moon_chronicles

Yes, I LOVE eclipses 🤍 #eclipseseason by @over_the_moon_chronicles

The South Node plays an important role here. And the South Node rarely brings something completely unfamiliar. It brings us back.

Old decisions, mistakes, illusions and unfinished stories can resurface — not necessarily to be repeated, but to be seen from where we stand today. This time, understanding alone might not be enough. There is a question of responsibility: what do we do differently now that we know better?

Look back at December 2007–July 2009. What occupied your life then? Which decisions changed your direction? Something that began, ended or became central during that period may be reaching another turning point now.

Collectively, that period is fascinating: the banking crisis exposed the fragility of established systems, while social media and digital networks started changing how power and information move. Bitcoin appeared, decentralisation gained momentum and collective protest found completely new ways to organise itself.

Many of the structures we now take for granted were born or radically accelerated then.

There is also a very personal relationship story in this eclipse.

Mars and Venus are in tension, asking uncomfortable questions around desire, attachment, attraction and compromise. What do I want — and what am I willing to sacrifice to keep a relationship, collaboration or alliance alive?

Some bonds may need new rules. Some alliances may form unexpectedly. Others may have reached their natural ending. And sometimes the decision is made for us before we are ready to make it ourselves.

The day before the eclipse, Mars moves into Cancer and enters tension with Venus, Neptune and Lilith. That adds a highly emotional layer: protection, belonging, family, home, loyalty — but also projection, defensiveness and the instinct to divide the world into “us” and “them”.

This is where I would pay attention. Not every feeling needs to become an action.
Not every fear is intuition.
Not every loyalty deserves to be continued.

And maybe this is one of the quieter questions underneath this very loud eclipse: What are you still loyal to simply because it is familiar? by @over_the_moon_chronicles

Some full moons are strong, some are extraordinary. This one in Aquarius activates the infamous Barbault Basket—a once in a lifetime configuration that draws in all three outer planets along with Jupiter and Chiron in unusually exact geometry and marks the pivotal turning point for our era. According to Astrologer Barbault, this is the long awaited “magnificent restart of civilization” we’re feeling ahead of us. All placements sit in fire and air, creating tremendous dynamic action.

Honestly, we don’t know how this will play out and that’s okay. Just enjoy the ride and don’t forget that everything is possible. Choose your timeline wisely. This lunation is also the last before eclipse season, opening doors wide open.

The Full Moon joins Pluto in Aquarius, opposing the Sun and Jupiter Cazimi in Leo. This massive opposition urges us towards our authentic truth and self-expression—not what we think others expect from us. With our own shine we illuminate everything around us by honoring their individuality and authenticity. The era of superstars is over, because everyone is a superstar in their own way. This is a time to stop competing, as this is the legacy of our capitalistic upbringing, but to support each other because only as a community are we truly strong. There is enough for everyone. Don’t believe those telling you otherwise.

But this can only happen when we accept Pluto’s invitation to transform our fears, family and ancestral programs. All that weight that doesn’t allow us to be our true self, doubting ourselves, not seeing our own beauty. This lunation we might be reminded of the promises we gave ourselves this spring but didn’t follow through on. As Uranus is involved through a trine, there are unexpected events and situations coming from nowhere, putting things in order—which might be scary at first, but will turn out as a blessing.

There’s also a T-Square with Chiron, the Wounded Healer. Somatic work is what we need to release all that old stuff we carry: the fear of not being enough, worthy, belonging. Pain is not what to hide. This is exactly what makes you you. Honor it. Make it your wisdom. 🦌✨🪶 by @over_the_moon_chronicles

There are parts of ourselves we learned to hide long before we consciously chose to.

Too emotional.
Too intense.
Too ambitious.
Too sensitive.
Too much.

But what if these are not the parts that need fixing?

What if they are the parts asking to be understood?

This is one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through years of working with astrology, psychology and systemic work: what we reject doesn’t disappear. It simply moves into the shadow—and from there, it quietly shapes our lives.

I don’t believe we’re here to become someone else.

I believe we’re here to become more fully ourselves.

This is the beginning of a new series exploring the hidden wisdom behind the parts of ourselves we fear most—through astrology, archetypes and shadow work.

✨ Which part of yourself have you been trying to hide?
