The BFGS Basketball Academy began with an “I do” and a vision 💍✍🏾 With every step forward, the academy continues to grow and our vision expands even clearer and further. Thank you to everyone who’s supported and believed in the journey so far.
As we prepare for a new season… our story is still unfolding, and the next chapter is closer than we think. #BFGSBASKETBALLACADEMY #NEWSEASON #THEUNFOLDING by @overcomersbasketball
Proud to announce that our OVERCOMERS BASKETBALL organization is officially verified by @CanadaBasketball ✅ The Verification Program integrates important aspects of coaching, Safe Sport, and organizational leadership. Displaying the Verified logo above indicates that our governing bodies have reviewed us and have added accountability to our program which include: • Mandatory background checks and Safe Sport Training for all our coaches. • Adopting a full policy suite of guidelines that help protect the safety of all participants. • Adhering to Canada Basketball’s model for Long Term Development, including age and developmentally-appropriate training. • Ensuring proper administrative procedures have been taken to govern our organization. #OvercomersBasketball #CanadaBasketball #QuebecBasketball #BFGS by @overcomersbasketball
In 2015, I had a vision to build something more than just basketball. At the time, I had no idea where the journey would take me and the people I would meet along the way. As time has passed I’ve learned that any sustainable vision cannot be built alone, it takes a team of reliable and trusted individuals, who are not perfect, but live out character beyond the game. I’m extremely thankful to God for surrounding me with coaches who represent our culture, have walked this journey with me, and continue to help build athletes and leaders for something greater than basketball. by @overcomersbasketball

Comparison is the thief of joy ‼️ Every player has their own journey, don’t compare your progress against another player. Stay in your lane, trust the process, and focus on getting 1% better every day. #overcomersbasketball by @overcomersbasketball
