Was there a better place to be than Whittier Skatepark 5, 10, 15—even 20—years ago? I honestly can’t think of one. Friday evenings—everyone showed up, and everyone ripped.

Fun fact about @upset.mind.tattoos: one day we ran into him outside the skatepark and he busted out the smoothest line for me to say to my wife—something like “you’ll always be beautiful in my eyes.” Had both of us cracking up 😂
Maybe a rebrand to gifted.mind.tattoos?

This one is from a while back lol, I’ve had the chance to film @owlex999 and skate with from the local skate scene days at Whittier Skate Park. I just saw Alex after maybe a couple years, felt great to hear that one of his favorite photos is one we took at Whittier skatepark along time ago. We took a 1' tall box to the park and added it to the extension, to make a vert extension for him to boost off of.
