@center.corp #PSCENTER #파치과일과자비 #DamagedFruitAndMercy #구나 #GuNa by @p.s.center

GuNa works in sculpture and painting, in a practice that grows out of her own experience of the body’s vulnerability. Her work moves between the impulse to accept the body and the impulse to refuse it, translating both the cold reality imposed by the body’s limits and the longing to exceed them into abstract forms and shifting materials. Working outdoors on the outskirts of the city, she casts translucent FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic), allowing the warping and staining that occur as it cures to become part of the work. More recently, she has paired thin, translucent panels with materials of a very different nature, such as steel, stone, water, and fruit, exploring the relationships between the fragile and the solid, between what changes and what endures. ⟪파치 과일과 자비⟫ 2026.10.8 - 11.7 PS CENTER Image: 1) GuNa‘s profile 2) GuNa, 𝘚𝘪𝘹𝘛𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘈𝘯𝘥𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘖𝘯 𝘙𝘦𝘥𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘧, 2026, FRP, steel, water, 160×37×149 cm 3-5) Installation view of 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘍𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘺 at PS CENTER, 2026. by @p.s.center

Yeon Jinyeong transforms industrial and consumer materials, including puffer jackets, airbags, ducts, and keyrings, into sculptural and installation-based works through processes of dismantling and reassembly. Yeon focuses on the traces and transformative potential of objects produced and discarded through processes of mass production and consumption, exploring the traces left by contemporary tastes and desires through his sculptural language. By transforming functional materials into new forms and sensations, he reveals the layers of time and human traces accumulated on the surfaces of things. His work has been presented at Leeum Museum of Art, National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), and Ilmin Museum of Art, among others, and he has collaborated with Nike, Christian Dior, and RE:CODE. ⟪본연⟫ 2026.8.28 - 10.2 PS CENTER Image: 1) Yeon Jinyeong‘s profile 2) Yeon Jinyeong, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘰 𝘔𝘢𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘭𝘣𝘰𝘸, 2026, Duct, charms, resin, Dimensions variable 3) Yeon Jinyeong, 𝘉𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯 (𝘱𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸), 2026, Latex cast from texture, cotton, Dimensions variable 4-5) Installation view of 𝘉𝘖𝘏𝘕𝘠𝘌𝘖𝘕 at PS CENTER, 2026. by @p.s.center
@center.corp #PSCENTER #본연 #Bohnyeon #구본창 #연진영 by @p.s.center
