Collin Gosselin’s New memoir dropped today. In his memoir, Collin details the abuse he endured at the hands of his mother Kate Gosselin. During an interview with Jay Shetty, Collin shared a medical record from his admission into Fairmount Behavioral Health. Collin shared that he was taken to the facility by ambulance, his mother did not come with nor did she say explain why he was being sent there. Kate didn’t show up at the facility to manage his intake paperwork. Instead, Kate gave directions to the RN managing his intake. According to the records shared by Collin, Kate admitted to locking Collin in a room. She justified by claiming a psychiatrist approved locking Collin into a concrete room in their basement. We know this cannot be true as detaining a child in a bolted room with no way to escape is child abuse under the law. The notes from his admission are horrifying. Kate was more concerned about Collin not eating sugar, she refused to speak to him by phone and was paranoid about the facility telling Jon Gosselin about Collin’s location. During his admission, Collin told the intake about the locked room. The RN explained to Kate that a childline report had been made against her. Kate responded, “He always tells wild stories. I’ve been investigated before. Yes, I have a room that I lock him in, and a psychiatrist approved that.” For years, Kate has denied that she ever locked Collin into a room. She’s accused him of being severely mentally ill and a pathological liar. As recently as this summer, she continued to claim Collin was violent and abusive. Collin has not lived with his mother since he was 11 years old and saw her once while he was falsely imprisoned in the behavioral facility. Collin’s book goes into great detail the abuse he endured at her hands. The memoir also exposes the exploitation he endured at the hands of his parents and TLC. “In the Shadow of Eight” is available now.
An update on Gus the gopher tortoise - October 16th, 2026. Gus enjoys a drink of water! Gus is currently behind the scenes recovering from his bladder stone surgery. He is receiving food and medicine with a feeding tube, but can drink water as normal. Staff were extra excited for Gus to enjoy a little sip of water today. We will continue to provide updates on Gus’s progress a couple times of week as he recovers. Thank you so much for your love and support of our favourite gopher tortoise. #MNH #Gus #Halifax #NovaScotia #Update Video description: a staff person holds Gus by the shell while another offers him a drink from his cup. A third staff films, and all express excitement at Gus drinking water. The drops of brown on the pad Gus is sitting on are from his carrot smoothie.

Happy #Wednesdaytonaday gang! Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted a Rolex Daytona. For me it is chronograph perfection and the chronograph is a complication I’ve always been obsessed with, I even got married wearing one. And so, to borrow a phrase, ‘I’ve done a thing’. Or at least, I did a thing and have subsequently been dancing around how best to talk about this for a while now… In fact, I’ve owned this 2018 Rolex Daytona 116500LN since July… 🙈 So here’s a long overdue #nwa post, I’m sorry for the delay, it’s been a busy Summer and securing my absolute dream watch has completely knocked me for six - for a long time I just couldn’t believe it was true! Hence I’ve been having a fairly low-key time of it on Instagram and just been busy wearing the hell out of this incredible piece privately, for me, not the ‘gram. But ultimately, how could I not share this momentous occasion with you, the #watchfam?! There’s more to this story, which I’ll share in due course, but suffice to say it involves A LOT of consolidation and a large dose of Man Maths (TM). For now, TODAY is my Daytona Day 🖤 #rolexdaytona #116500ln
