The first snow has always felt a little magical to me. ❄️🤎

Ever since I was a little girl, the moment I saw those first snowflakes falling from the sky, I had to go outside
.
I would bundle up, step into the quiet, and just walk.

There was something about that first snowfall that made the whole world feel different. Everything became softer. Quieter. Almost like time slowed down for a little while.

And without even knowing what meditation really was back then, that’s exactly what I was doing.
I would walk, breathe in the cold air, listen to the snow beneath my boots, and let my mind wander.
I would dream about my future.

Imagine the life I wanted.

Think about all the things that felt impossible… and somehow believe they could happen.
Looking back, maybe those were some of my first moments of manifestation. ✨

Not because I knew the word.
But because for a few quiet minutes, I was completely present — imagining, believing, feeling.
Even now, the first snow brings me right back there.

Big flakes falling slowly.
That unmistakable silence.
The world turning white.
And suddenly, I’m that little girl again, walking through the snow and believing that anything is possible. ❄️✨

Maybe that’s why the first snow will always feel like magic to me.

Don’t let them put our city in the toilet!! There’s still time to get involved and help elect Nithya Raman as the next mayor of Los Angeles. Sign up to volunteer at nithyaforthecity.com and help us build a city where Angelenos come first, not landlords like this guy!
