The dress of my dreams 🤍 My mom said the second she was strong enough in between treatments, she wanted to go to New York together for dress shopping. What did Jesus say about the issues churches fight over most? Go read the red letters yourself and you’ll notice something.

He told a rich man who had kept every commandment that he still lacked one thing: sell what he owned and give it to the poor. He said life does not consist in the abundance of possessions. He opened his ministry in Luke by announcing good news to the poor.

That’s what filled his sermons. Not the issues that fill most church voter guides.

None of this means Christians can’t hold views on any of it. It means those views come from somewhere other than Jesus’ own words, and that’s worth being honest about.
