Seeing PPF being put on really gives you some perspectives into the craft and skill of it all. As you can see, no pre-cut template was used. If it can be done, custom cut is what this shop prefers. This creates the best result and edge tuck coverage. From what I have been told, pre-cuts are often too short, not leaving enough flexibility for the installer to do a good job with. Obviously the CTR has awkward geometry, specially on that front bumper, so manage your expectations between custom and pre-cuts.
Also as a sidenote, this was done in 20 minutes with me talking with the owner Brent and his assistant. I'd say whoever is taking this home next week should be pretty happy with the result as I was.
