THE FUTURE OF BEAUTY AND FASHION IS LOOKING OLDER.

For years, brands have been focused on Gen Z, but there’s a major consumer conversation happening beyond them. Consumers over 50 are projected to drive 48% of global spending growth in 2025, yet older women remain underrepresented in fashion and beauty advertising.

We’re starting to see that shift, from older women on the CHANEL and GUCCI runways to beauty campaigns from REFY and Paula’s Choice that put aging in the spotlight.

As AI generated faces and age defying treatments continue to shape beauty standards, this is a major marketing opportunity for brands to finally tap into an audience that has both purchasing power and a desire to see itself represented. Because the next big move isn’t always about reaching younger consumers. Sometimes, it’s about recognizing the ones brands have overlooked.

What do you think?
