Happy Birthday 🎂2️⃣9️⃣ To the woman who has stolen my heart 🤗🖤, To the light of my life 🌟, To my fiance 👭, To my future wife. 💍
I love you forever and always! 💛💙 ✖3️⃣ 9️⃣♡2️⃣2️⃣

If working with sick dogs has taught me anything in life it is that we should all try and live in the moment and do more of what we enjoy.

When I was in ICU battling for my life after depression and addiction I told myself if I got another chance I wouldn’t ever be afraid of failure ever again and I’d forget about possessions and the traditional things the world tells us we need to have or do in order to be happy.

All I could think of was either teaching sport to kids or spending time with dogs. I had no idea that change in outlook would lead me to being with dogs in the way I am now and having such a mission.

Its really hard being caught up in the rat race of life with bills, traffic, health issues, social expectations, stress, anxiety, addiction, missed opportunities, lack of options and every other thing that life throws at us all. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do. The only small bit of advice I can give is to try and do more of what you love as soon as you can. It could be learning photography, traveling to a new country, getting a dog, opening a cafe or playing sports you loved when younger. Just try and be kind to yourself and do more of what you love.

Big love ❤️

I miss being able to train consistently! Between traveling & life’s other obligations, finding time to train has been a challenge but no matter how busy life gets, I still find a way to put in the work whenever I can. This sport has my heart, and I can’t wait to get back into my routine, fully focused and doing what I love most ❤️‍🔥

🍬 What candy to avoid when trick-or-treating? If your child is under 4, I recommend avoiding choking hazards. Choking hazards fall into these 4 types: hard, round, chewy or slippery candies. These can be especially tricky for young kids to safely eat! And know your child. Just because something isn’t a choking hazard for most kids, doesn’t mean it’s safe for your child. Make sure they are sitting and be there while they eat. 😊

If you take some away, you don’t have to give a lengthy explanation as to why. It’s ok to just say, “These candies here are the ones safe for you to eat” or “We aren’t going to eat these candies.”

A month ago this bird landed on my hand and told me everything was gonna be okay and it was :)
