Every meal gives you an opportunity to support your health. And you don’t need an expensive superfood or a complicated diet to begin. Food provides the raw materials your body uses to build muscle, make hormones, maintain your immune system, and fuel your cells. The fiber and plant compounds you eat also help nourish the microbes living in your gut. That’s why I encourage people to start with a simple foundation: plenty of colorful vegetables, quality protein, healthy fats, and a variety of whole foods. Aim to fill about 75 percent of your plate by volume with non-starchy vegetables. Add protein from foods like wild fish, pasture-raised eggs and poultry, or traditional plant foods like tempeh. Include healthy fats from olive oil, avocado, nuts, and seeds, with modest portions of beans and intact whole grains as tolerated. Calories tell you how much energy a food provides. Its protein, fiber, fats, vitamins, and plant compounds help explain what that food contributes to your health. Both deserve context. Save this for your next grocery trip—and tell me which foods are already staples in your kitchen.
Una victoria especial 🕊️❤️🤍
Good morning producers, musicians & composers.. Yall ready to work on the album? *Context: a portion of this album will be heavily based on my connection to the Blues. I want to marry HipHop & the Blues and create a new sound for myself that is signature to who I am and the Legacy pops has built. I have full permission to sample his works. I’m putting yall to the test! Somebody is gonna do this. WILL IT BE YOU? Serious inquiries ONLY! The email: GEGPROJECTZ@gmail.com
Well, it’s a wrap. I finally got to fish Lake Erie in the fall. I wanted to catch a big fat Musky so bad I could taste it, but caught these guys instead (but I won’t give up on that dream). Multi species fishing is what I love most about this lake. And I also got to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with friends who know really know how to cook!! Now it’s back to Nashvile, and some guitar slinging!! @uglystik @spro.usa @minnkotamotors @berkleyfishing @gunpowder.inc @fenwickfishing @abugarcia_fishing

Your kitchen counter is a glute machine 🍑 (and don’t get me started on the bathroom sink!) do you workout at home or the gym? ☕️While the coffee brews, try this SNEAK IT IN move: the Diagonal Kickback. Kicking back and out on a diagonal works your gluteus medius, the muscle on the side of your hip that keeps your pelvis level every time you take a step. Why it matters after 50 - Helps to: ✨ Lift and shapes the glutes ✨ Build hip stability for better balance ✨ Protect against falls ✨ Support your knees and lower back ✨ Make walking and stairs feel easier How to do it: 👉 Hold the counter lightly and stand tall 👉 Brace your core and keep your hips facing forward 👉 Kick one leg back and out at a 45° angle 👉 Squeeze your glute at the top, then lower slowly 👉 Do 10–12 per side, and keep it slow and controlled (no swinging!) Small moves, done often, add up to big strength. 💪 🦋Follow or share with your loved one for more - I think I have one or two more sneak it in moves this week! 🔥 or if you want to get started and stay more consistent with friends, join us in EverStrong, my live virtual strength class for adults 50+. It meets twice a week, and recordings are included so you never miss a session. Comment STRONG and I’ll send you all the details! Or comment “free” for a Get Fit over 50 workout plan. It’s a little older but still a goodie. @cindysullivanfitness Midlife & Senior Home Fitness Tips 🦋❤️ #SneakItIn #ExerciseSnacking #GluteMedius #StrongOver50 #HealthyAging
