- #nowdots
Did you know you can ski from Switzerland all the way into Italy without taking a single lift? Starting near the top of Klein Matterhorn at almost 3,900 metres, 12740ft you can ski approximately 13 kilometres down to the Italian village of Cervinia. Along the way, you’ll descend almost 1,800 vertical metres, cross an international border, ski past incredible views of the Matterhorn and finish in Italy, where you can stop for pizza and pasta. And the best part? You can do all of this on groomed ski slopes. One more interesting fact The Matterhorn is called Monte Cervino in Italian. So when you cross the border, you’re skiing around the same mountain, but even its name changes! CHECK OUT LINK FOR VALTOURNENCHE ROUTE! Do you want to do it?
