Ten days into bringing our farms back to life and now we’re on the search for a home to renovate to host guests, family, and maybe you one day.

Comment, matcha experience if you want to come stay with us this Spring in March and learn about planting saplings.

My grandma Jan passed away in August. She was a wonderful and creative lady and we knew about her "toad hobby" from a long time ago, but we didn't realize the full extent of it until recently.

If you're anything like me and my family, you're probably watching this thinking

1. WTF is this.
2. This is amazing.

So here are some answers to a few common questions from friends we've shown these toad pics to already:

- why? She was a very creative and whimsical lady. Her kids (my dad included) played with toads in their backyard and she took inspiration from their antics.
- no toads were harmed. She loved the toads and would capture them on their property in South Carolina, dress them up and take pics, and release them within 24 hours. Some of the early toad pics were taken in Thailand or Indonesia, where she and her family lived for a few years in the 70s.
- we don't know if she made all of the costumes and set pieces by hand but it seems like most of them were custom. Others likely came from doll sets.
- yes there are hundreds if not thousands of toad pics that we will be digitizing and posting here over time.
- is this AI? Absolutely not lol

Follow along for more toad content. There's a lot more of the story to come! In honor of Jan ❤️

Kimberly Guilfoyle resigned as U.S. ambassador to Greece on Tuesday, after The Wall Street Journal reported that she had solicited $100,000 from a Trump donor in the run-up to her confirmation hearing last year.

“Serving as the United States Ambassador to Greece has been the honor of a lifetime. I will forever be grateful to President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio for entrusting me with the extraordinary privilege of representing the greatest country in the history of the world,” she said in a post on X.

Guilfoyle also addressed the allegations against her, saying: “These allegations are false, and I intend to vigorously defend my name, my reputation and my integrity.”

The Journal reported last week that Guilfoyle had sought a $100,000 payment to her American Express account days before her confirmation hearing. While soliciting the payment from Eric Deters, a Trump donor and former congressional candidate, Guilfoyle had touted her connections to the Trump administration and sought to lobby the Internal Revenue Service and Justice Department on his behalf, according to text messages reviewed by the Journal. She promised to be his “Trump ride or die, forever and ever” if he came up with the Amex money. He didn’t ultimately make the payment, telling her it would cost him his marriage.

Guilfoyle’s lawyer disputed the authenticity of the messages but declined to provide specifics, and said the ambassador was “owed a balance” for events she had attended prior to her nomination. Deters said he didn’t owe her any balance.
