George Oliphant of NBC’s George to the Rescue is our event co-host and Celebrity Interior Designer Robin Baron will be our MC for the 4th year in a row!
We will also be posthumously honoring NYPD Detective and 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund Advocate Lou Alvarez with our Humanitarian Hero Award. Mr. Alvarez was a huge supporter of Kids Need More and proceeds will be benefiting KNM and all the wonderful programs they provide to children and young adults fighting life threatening illness.
KNM also supports the siblings of the kids fighting cancer - the brothers and sisters of an ill child are also suffering the effects of the disease on their families and relationships. KNM recognizes this and includes all siblings in their camps and year round activities.
Designers + Builders Alliance of Long Island, A Foundation Built on Giving, is a unique organization uniting all home-trade professionals under one roof – for networking and industry-focused activities. The mission is three-fold: to foster the concept of good design on Long Island, produce programs that enhance relationships among the myriad of home trades and most importantly, to raise money for worthy, local causes.
