Western Teleport came out 15 years ago. I was hoping to wait until the 20th anniversary to commemorate it properly, but y'all apparently want more WT stuff NOW, so we here at team @barnonerecords got busy. FIRST: This Friday, 30 October, at 7:30pm SHARP, I'll be singing all eleven songs on Western Teleport on acoustic guitar at Desert Island @desertislandrecordings, a very beautiful and very small comic book shop at Met on the L right by the BQE in Brooklyn. It's free, but only the first 40 people will be able to fit in, so get there early if you want to hear it. (Thanks to @urmyeverlovin for making this happen and to @fathers_puka_shells.exe for the porous membrane-themed flyer.) NEXT: There will likely be an overflow crowd of folks who cannot get in; for these folks I'll TRYYYY to do a second set across the street of "Erica Western Teleport," "Allahu Akbar," "Freeway in Heaven," and a few requests, God and weather and NYPD willing. ALSO: There will be a special announcement at the show of some plans we have for 2027. Only people at this event will have the opportunity to grab a certain kind of Western Teleport-related thing we're making...not gonna say more about it until Friday, but feel free to guess below and I'll rate your guesses on a scale of 0.000 to 0.999. See you there!
