Sometimes, the more advice you seek, the harder it becomes to hear your own voice. You seek opinions from people who seem to have life figured out. But here’s the problem: what worked for someone else might not be right for you. Their priorities, circumstances, and definition of success are different from yours. Yet, you start living by their advice instead of understanding what you truly want. Sometimes, you’re not confused because you lack information. You’re confused because you’ve heard too many opinions and stopped trusting your own judgment. Take advice. Learn from people. Be open to different perspectives. But remember, advice is supposed to help you think, not think for you. The goal isn’t to never need advice. It’s to learn how to listen to others without losing yourself in their opinions. Because at the end of the day, you’ll have to live with your decisions, not the people who made them for you.
