I have stories. First of all—Verity is creepy af. I was sitting near @xtinemay at the premier and at one very heightened moment—she squealed and threw her bucket of popcorn into the air. I don’t know what happened for three minutes of the movie because I was laughing so much. It was iconic.
@tashapolis made us all look good on premier night. From creating colleens look, to posing me. She’s so talented I’m in awe. @producer1908 has been my friend since I published the Opportunist, she came to the hotel while I was getting ready for the premier, looked at my wrinkled dress, and said ‘Tarryn are you being serious right now?’ She ironed me, pinned me, and told me to stop being weird while she posed me for pics 😅
At some point during my week in NY Colleen wanted me to have dinner with these twins named Michael and Madison. I was all—I don’t want to have dinner with random people—who the duck are Michael and Madison? She made me go (because I don’t like going places) and now I love Michael and Madison so much I’d have dinner with them every night— forever— if I could. Maybe there’s a thriller in there… what happens when you lock twins in a house, separate them, and tell them to find their way out in exactly the same way— without communicating? On a timer. Michael and madison could do it.

Anyway, when I first read Verity I started wondering if Colleen was even crazier than I am. That’s a real compliment by the way. Watching Verity assured me she is. I don’t know what’s wrong with Colleen, but I like it. The movie was so good that i hope she writes many more thrillers. People were gasping. I was giggling. #manuscript
